I am praying that these fit me better than my last Dior pair. I love this pattern, being very nautical and chic. I just hope they fit!

My Outfit

So I thought the best outfit to do these tights with is a white 2-piece set with white slingbacks. I wanted to have somewhat a Parisian vibe.

The Review

The Packaging

Getting Them On: the Hosiery Gloves are on for this pair. I can’t be risky when it comes to old school hosiery!

I did my usual scrunch and roll up the legs, and I was super thankful that they sat so well!

On The Legs: so I usually stay away from pinstripes, but I just had to go for these as they are a vintage Dior pair. They usually make my legs look bigger than what they are, but today, I felt they actually looked alright. The sheer navy against the bolder lines work really well; keeping it looking super chic.

The quality of these; I’m not too pleased with. In comparison to my last pair, these snagged up pretty quickly, literally as I left the house.

The fit of them worked well for me, as I had enough material so it sits well on the legs. These don’t have elasticity to them, so I had to be careful not to tug at them. There was no gapping, which I was pleased with.

The feel of them are rough to touch, as they have a matte finish to them. They did feel slightly rough against the sin to begin with, but I got used to it and carried on my day.

The Toes & Ankle: how cool is this part? If I am honest, I don’t know if they are reinforced or not, but I have this part where the stripes start. I would like to believe they are reinforced…

Anyways I had plenty of stretch around this area, and no pressure was added during my wear.

I also had a smooth finish around the feet and ankles, with no wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: now the band looks great here, but as soon as I got them off, I ended up stretching them to much, to the point I have widened the band so it doesn’t fit. There isn’t (well it hardly has) much elasticity in this part, so I have had t be careful the whole day not to stretch out, and I forgot when I was taking them off.

The band as you can see is super slim, with reinforcement underneath.

My Thoughts?

I do like the design of these; it does scream Dior to be honest. However I wasn’t too impressed with the quality and the lack of elasticity in them.
