I’m throwing a random blog into the mix this July – because I finally have some time to get a review done for you all. I did want these to be a part of my Holdups Month, however I never had the chance to get it done then.

This pair I have had sitting there for so long, patiently waiting to be reviewed. I really love the idea of an already layered up pair, and the fact that they are holdups – even better!

I kept it simple as we are dealing with some serious heat this week. I went with my wrap over dress, and added my striped court shoes to give it a little oomph.

The Packaging

Like an idiot, I forgot to do my packaging video for you all and chopped it up before I realised! These showed the pair on the front, along with a bit more of the spec at the back. It’s your typical CdR packaging for those who know it well.

Getting Them On: my hosiery gloves are on before I begin to scrunch and roll up my legs. I took my time going over my anklets before setting them in place. I wanted to make sure that I got the fishnet design as even as possible, so it isn’t crimpled or stretched out too much in places.

On The Legs: I rarely come across layered pairs like this, and I am so for it. I love that actually has a sheer base pair with the nets on top, all sewn together with a triple band welt. It’s different and I love it!

The quality of this pair is ok, and I say just ok because they could have been made SO MUCH BETTER to be honest. I found these ripped and snagged so easily, which was a shame as they didn’t last all day as I had hoped for. CdR could have done so much better with this pair. I also found that there are parts of the fishnet where the lace is starting to fray as well – not good!

The fit of these are great; they work perfectly for my leg length and size. I had enough stretch to achieve even leg coverage all around.

The feel of these are soft enough, and smooth on the legs. I had no problems with irritation.

The Toes & Ankle: so these come with reinforcement on the fishnet part, but not on the sheer part – which is strange. I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and no pressure was added during my wear either.

I did want to show you a close up of how much they snag, and this happens a bit too easily for my liking.

Around the feet and ankles, I had a smooth, fitted finish with no wrinkling.

The Bands: I love the sporty-ness of these bands, which works so ell with the fishnets. However I will mention that these could have been so much better; the finish on them are quite messy. I felt it let me down little.

However I do like that they are triple-banded, so it gives that extra bit of hold to them. They do have a good amount of tackiness to them, so they don’t pry away easy from the skin.

My Thoughts?

I love how these look, but honestly I wouldn’t be recommending them at all. I felt the quality really lacked with them; they snag so easily, the lace cam come part easily, and the bands could do with a proper finish to them.
