Cecilia De Rafael Eterno 15 Tights

Have you ever tried the Lime Green CdR tights before? I certainly haven’t and I am pretty interested to see how they turn out. I normally don’t go for colours like this, however these were gifted and of course, I had to get them on the blog to review.

I have reviewed some similar styles to this one; hit the links below to read (opens in a new tab):

My Outfit

It was so hard pairing this colour with something, so I opted for one of my favourite dresses. I added a simple sandal instead of shoes with these to really show them off.

The Review

The Packaging

Getting Them On: I was so careful getting these on this morning. I had to get the hosiery gloves out to help roll these on without any issues. These are pretty delicate, so I would advise taking time and care getting them on. I especially had to, as I had anklets to think about in the mix of all this.

On The Legs: I have done a natural vs flash image below so you can see the difference.

The quality of them are amazing; I managed to keep them damage-free the whole day. I will say these are very easy to snag, so be mindful when you are in them.

The fit of them are spot on; I felt there was enough room and stretch to them to fit my legs perfectly. There isn’t too much stretch let me add, so I would go up one size if you’re unsure.

The feel of them are so nice and super soft. I love feeling them I gotta say! They are to die for, and trust me when I say once you stroke them, it’s hard to stop!

The colour is one that I was hesitant to do, but I am so glad I did with this dress and heels. They do shade differently, depending on the lighting you’re in. I found them to be quite lime green in some parts of the day, and very subtle in other parts. When the flash hits, it just becomes super sheer and glossy.

The Toes & Ankle: so the toes have plenty of wiggle room in them and they don’t cause any pressure on the toes at all. I do wish they came with reinforced toes, just so you don’t have to constantly worry if any holes are going to be made, especially when wearing open toe shoes / sandals.

Around the ankles it was a lovely smooth finish as always!

The Waistband & Gusset: this works so well under anything that has the word bodycon in it, however I found that this time these rolled down quite a bit which would stick out if you were to pair up with a bodycon dress! Once again, I felt these came up a lot higher on my waist rather than at belly-button level like they normally do, so they ended up rolling down a little.

These are a seamless band, so the whole concept of it just sitting flush on the skin is quite hard when there is hardly any elasticity or a band to help do that.

My Thoughts?

I am so glad I got to try these out, as they are such a fun colour and something that works well for Spring/Summer too! I loved the quality, the fit and the feel of them. This is a pair I would recommend for sure!
