Anyways, these were once again gifted from Amazon and I cannot wait to try this super awesome pair out! Before I delve in, this will be a mini review with not so many pictures as half way through, my battery died and it took over 5 hours to charge it up again!

My Outfit

Monochrome is back again, but this time we are going a little wild with it. I opted for a black long sleeve top with a white quilted skater skirt and added my ankle boots with it.

I left my hair down and crimped to go with the edgy look!

The Review

From The Website: Cecilia De Rafael Beatriz Tights have a hypnotic circular net pattern that runs from waist to toe. An oversized net forms the basis with the circular holes filled with a stripe net which gives an elegant, unusual twist to these net pantyhose. An extremely versatile design that would fit in at the office, a party or a casual occasion. Finished with soft, comfortable yarns for all day wear.

The Packaging: so we have a little plump package to play with. The front shows the model wearing the hosiery in a nude shade with the back going into slightly more detail about hosiery care, sizing, and the following:

“Sheer to waist | Flat seams | Cotton gusset.”

When you get inside, you find these wrapped around promotional card, and once you start unravelling, you find these slightly shaped to the legs and feet. It won’t be defined due to the denier being slightly on the thick side, but good enough to work with.

Getting Them On: so getting these on, you have to be mega careful. I wore hosiery gloves (my silk ones this time) to help me glide them up and I managed to make a damn hole (image shown in the next section)!

You will need to scrunch and roll the best you can taking care not to tug too hard.

Over anklets, these will be ok as long as you take serious care when going over any sharp ones.

On The Legs: so that rip! I was gutted… The first one is the right top image (which I then filled in with a kohl eyeliner pencil so it didn’t look too obvious along with hairspray to stop it from ripping further)!

The second one happened during the day which was placed just under my skirt hem, so it was on complete show! I was dead gutted!

The denier is great for 40 – perfect to give you that statement look, but not great enough to keep the hosiery from catching and ripping!

The feel of them are quite rough I have to say; it doesn’t have a smooth finish like I thought it might, but then again we are dealing with nets and not all nets have a soft finish to them.

The quality I would like to say is decent as it’s CdR, but with this pair I’m not too sure to be honest. I was quite disappointed in them after a day’s wear.

The Toes & Ankle: so a massive thing you need to be wary of is that these are un-reinforced toes, which means you may need to trim those nails down. Luckily I had mine done and all smoothed out, so I didn’t encounter any issues.

Throughout the day, I had plenty of wiggle room in them, the seams stayed put along my toe line and didn’t budge and overall they were comfortable.

I managed to slightly catch the tights under my foot, so I ended up with a weird bobble which you could feel from time to time but nothing to moan about.

Around the ankles these sit flush; no crinkles or wrinkles!

The Waistband & Gusset: so the band itself is a decent one; holds up really well, stays put all day and doesn’t roll over itself if you’re sitting for long periods of time.

The design works right from the toes to the band so you will need to take care that your nails or fingers don’t grip too hard that it rips. I had to be extra careful when I was pulling them on and off to make sure I didn’t create anymore holes!

My Thoughts?

Overall I think these are such a cool design but in terms of practicality, they aren’t great. You have to be careful at all times not to get them caught otherwise you end up with massive holes in them, and to be honest, it should be the last thing you need to worry about when wearing hosiery.

The quality could be a lot better in my eyes, but I won’t fully slate them as they are still pretty awesome.
