I have never seen the ‘secret shape’ ones before so I was totally intrigued when I got them through the post.

My Outfit

Seeing as it’s NYE, let’s go for some jazz with the outfit. I wore my foil dress, added a waist belt so it suited my shape and wore my barely there sandals to finish off the look. I added defined curls to give it a proper OTT look for work 🙂

The Review

The Packaging: so as CdR normally do, they show the model wearing the hosiery on the front along with some details about the tights. These are supposed to help shape the thighs, bum and waist.

When you get in, you will find these wrapped around promo card, and also quite bulky-ish. The top of these are pretty thick in comparison to the bottom (for obvious reasons if they’re gonna be slimming you down)

 

On The Legs: so getting these on I had no issue until I got the thigh part where they started to squeeze me a little. I did do it bit by bit to make sure that they’re lined up equally on each side and then adjusting so I wear it correctly.

Once I got them on, they were so nice to be in. As I have the flash on in these images, you can see they are quite sheer, but in normal lighting they looked a lot darker and not as see-through as you would think.

One bit I noticed once I looked back at my images; there is a weird line going up the legs on each side; I don’t know if that is caused when pulling them up, but they were there all day clearly and doesn’t really look nice when you do spot it. Luckily I didn’t see it when I wad at work otherwise I would have obsessed over it big time!

The denier is pretty thick, but as I mentioned is pretty see through as well. If you’re after a proper black block, I would opt for 100 denier plus so you don’t get skin showing through.

The fit of these are true to size, and the feel is so so soft! I love the way they felt on the legs and they were so snug to be in as well; they work amazing well for winter! I love the way they just hugged the legs throughout the day and retained in heat when I was out in the cold.

The quality of these are really good too; I had no problems, and there are no signs of snagging or catching anywhere on the legs which I like. I thought these did well today!

 

The Toes & Ankle: once again no issues here at all; the toes had plenty of room to wiggle and the tights weren’t adding any pressure onto them during the day.

The ankles are a nice smooth finish as well which helps when you’re in sandals!

 

The Waistband: what this has on the tushy is a part where it’s supposed to sit under the bum so it lifts it slightly. I first wore it on top and then realised something felt wrong, so there was a fair bit of that this morning. I didn’t show this image (for my own reasons) but you get the jist when you see the packaging.

Around the thighs and waist, I did feel like they were compressed in slightly (not in a painful way at all) and I felt like they actually worked. I noticed that my tushy looked and felt a lot more perky and firmer than it normally does, which I was so happy about as well! A good one to wear under clothing!

The waistband itself is so comfy; it holds its elasticity really well and it doesn’t roll over itself at all during the day which is a bonus. It worked so well for me.

 

 

My Thoughts?

I am so glad I got to try these out, I love the way they look on the legs (minus the weird lines) and how they feel too. I know these will be hard to get hold of, but if you can it’ll be worth it for sure.
