Some wardrobe staples don’t shout for attention; they quietly earn their place by being endlessly reliable, beautifully wearable, and surprisingly transformative. The Capezio Ultra Soft Body Tights fall squarely into that category. These were actually a birthday gift from one of my lovely Instagram followers, who very kindly picked them up for me via my Amazon Wishlist – and honestly, it feels rather fitting that something so classic and versatile came with such a thoughtful story attached. There’s something special about pieces that arrive with a little bit of community love stitched into them.
At first glance, black tights might seem like the simplest of essentials, but as anyone who lives in hosiery will tell you, the difference between just tights and the right tights is everything. From how they sit on the waist, to how they smooth the leg, to whether they survive a full day without constant adjusting, the details matter. In this post, I’m taking you through how these Capezio body tights look, feel, and perform in real life; styled, photographed, worn, and properly put to the test.

The Packaging
On The Body: well I got to say this is something different! To keep it clean (like always) I am wearing undergarments as this is a little too revealing to show it without on socials.
So let me start with getting it on. I wore my hosiery gloves to help me roll these up. I had a lot of material to work with, and I didn’t want to end up snagging them at any point. I stretched these out a fair bit, just to see how much I had to play with.
Once I got them rolled up the legs, I shimmied the top half up until I was happy, and adjusted the straps so it sat right where I wanted it to. Overall it was pretty easy to get on!
On the body – I have to say this is super snug and so soft. I didn’t really know what to expect here, but I really enjoyed being in it. It was comfortable enough to move in without feeling restricted either.
The quality of this piece was pretty decent; there were some spots where the dye wasn’t the greatest and was quite patchy. Apart from that, I have no complaints. This could easily be worn without undergarments too, depending on your preference. I liked it with, as it just added that extra bit of comfort for me and the piece as a base layer for my outfits.
The fit of it was perfect for me; I didn’t feel it was too short in any way, and it definitely wasn’t restricting. It was super snug and it hugged me really well – big thumbs up!
The feel of it has that microfiber feel to it, but not rough – if that makes sense. I will say it catches fluff very easily, so I had to keep a lint roller nearby (ugh!) Despite that, I didn’t feel itchy at all and I had no issues with it under clothing either.

The Toes & Ankle: so you can either wear this piece footed or as leggings. I didn’t know that until I read the description online, which made a lot of sense why I had a hole at he bottom of the foot. I didn’t mind the holes to be honest as it allowed me to have some grip when I’m not in footwear and just walking around. These are super soft, which means slippery on wooden flooring.
Anyways, around the toes, I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and no pressure was added. Around the ankles, it’s a lovely smooth finish with no wrinkling.

My Thoughts?
I really love this, and I would happily have more of these pieces in my collection as a base layer to play with. I loved the fit, the quality was lovely and it was a dream to be in to be honest.
