Slipping back into this brand, and I am reviewing a pair of Seamed Cuban Heel Stockings. I normally tend to dress these types of stockings with a formal or smart outfit, but I wanted to change that into something a little more casual yet still showing off its full potential.

The Packaging: like my last review, the packaging is pretty funky. It opens up like shown below, and they are folded in plastic packaging to protect the hosiery inside. They are wrapped around plain card, and have foot and leg shaping to it so you can get that backseam straight when gliding them on!
Getting Them On: I took my time to set the sole panel straight and then do the seams as straight as I can without wobbling them. I managed to get there in the end by going upside down. It’s hard to keep them straight sometimes, especially if your legs are slightly bent – so giving it a good go!
Oh these are fine to go over anklets by the way – as long as they are not sharp or can catch on easily, you should be fine going over them.
On The Legs: well let me start with the denier, and how the backseam looks amazing against it. These are not bad at all for an affordable pair of Cuban Heel stockings. I didn’t know what to expect once I got them on, but I will say these are not bad at all. I thought they are great for those who still want that classic style without breaking the bank. The denier was perfect to give a lovely sheer coverage on the legs, and have a flawless finish from toe to band.
The quality of these were not bad, but they could have been better. These are a full matte finish, which means they do feel a little rough. It’s nothing that will irritate the skin or anything, but it means these can snag super easy. I had to watch myself a few times today as I didn’t want to end up with snags all over the legs.
The fit of these are lovely, and there is plenty of stretch in them so you have the option to sit them high or low on the thighs. Obvs I sit mine high as I don’t like showing off the bands, and this accommodated that for sure. I would make sure you check the sizing guide before purchasing so you don’t end up with it wrinkling at the ankles or being too small that you are stretching it out more than you should be.
The Toes & Ankle: so these have reinforced toes to them, as you can see by the slightly darker denier going across the front and back. Luckily it isn’t anything too dark so you can still wear them with open toe shoes.
I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to move, and there was no pressure added either during the day. Around the feet and ankles, it was a lovely fitted finish.
On the soles, you have the lovely design which starts just under the toes and works into the Cuban Heel. I will say this doesn’t sit straight once you start walking around. I had to adjust them a few times to ensure that the backseam also sits straight too.
The Bands: I gotta say even though the bands are basic, they do a good job you know! They are quite slim compared to most bands you get on stockings, and they are just plain and thick compared to the rest of the legs. I love the fact they are super stretchy so it doesn’t matter the thickness of your thighs; these will adjust and sit so they don’t end up squeezing you and giving you a muffin top.
I did get annoyed that they had a few bobbly bits at the front; this is just extra material but I didn’t dare to cut it off just in case it unravels.
I was super comfortable wearing these, and the clasps also hooked on well too. I used plastic clips this time, and they were fine on these. I would normally do metal, but I wanted to switch up my suspender belt this time.
Not a bad pair at all I have to say; they’re affordable, they look lovely and they fit so well on the legs. The backseams stay straight as long as your sole panel is sitting flush underneath your feet. Once that moves, the backseam will go with it. I would still recommend these as I did like them, but they could have been better personally.
