Yep I am still on the Calzedonia roll, and I wanted to re-create a look I saw online that I loved. It was just all black, but I really liked it with an edgy feminine vibe.

This was another pair I got my hands on in their sale, and I wanted to wear them before summer comes along and I have to pack my thicker deniers away!

My Outfit

I decided to (well… try) replicate an image I saw on the runway. They kept it all black ,and let the legs and heels do the talking. I wanted to do the same so voila. I paired a satin cami top with my tulle skirt, added a cute cropped denim jacket and added some glam heels to finish the look.

The Review

The Packaging

Getting Them On: I will speak about the pearls a little further down, but let me mention that these were so easy to get on. I did my scrunch and roll, taking care going over my anklets. I thought the pearls would be an issue, but actually there was no issue at all!

On The Legs: well I love this pair let me just say! They are such a simple yet beautiful pair of tights to glam up any outfit. I know it isn’t really the right time of the year to wear thicker deniers, but I loved creating this look. The pearl applique is clasped on so well, that they are hard to pull off – trust me I did try my best to see if I could and I struggled. The pearls are located at the front only; the back is plain and simple. The pearls start from the ankles and work all the way up to the mid-top thigh (depending on your height).

The quality is spot on, and so wonderful! As these are a thicker denier, they will be hard to snag, plus it will be hard to tell when you do. I did manage to get some near to the end of the day, but even then I had to zoom in close so you could sot them. These also fit and look so good on the legs. There is no gapping around the knees or ankles, and it keeps the legs looking slim and wonderful.

The feel of these have that microfiber feel, which I know some people don’t like. I think they’re amazing, and felt so soft and snug to be in. There was no irritation to my skin during my wear either. The back piece to the pearls don’t rub or scratch the skin either; they sit super flush against the skin and you can hardly feel them to be honest.

The Toes & Ankle: the toes are not reinforced, but as these are a thicker denier you do have some sort of reinforcement to them. I still would advise keeping the nails short and smooth to ensure they have a little more life to them for future wears.

I had plenty of wiggle room in these for my toes to breathe, and there was no pressure applied either.

Around the feet and ankle, there is a smooth finish with no wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: a thinnish band, but a great one that is attached to this pair. They have a great amount of elasticity to them, which hugs my waist well during the day. They also don’t so shimmy or roll down on itself, which is a bonus! They hold up the tights really well, and I had no complaints.

The gusset is palm-sized, and sits flush against the skin.

My Thoughts?

After my previous review, these have made me smile! They are such great quality, look fantastic and I can see these last me a long time! I love the fit, the feel and how great they make my legs look too!
