Calzedonia Floral Pattern 40 Denier Tulle Tights

Flower Power! Oh I am so excited to review these today – purely because I am in a patterned tulle pair with a super cute outfit. I wore this outfit to work, and inspired someone to purchase a leather skirt and similar tights – WIN!

This pair I bought full price at the time, but they did go down in price not too long ago.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: as these are tulle, I had to take extra care as these can snag up pretty easily.

I did my scrunch and roll up the feet and ankles, before I slowly rolled them up the legs and set them in place. I did take care going over my anklets, as I didn’t want them to catch on at any point.

On The Legs: let me start off with this lovely floral print I am working with. It’s quite symmetrical on each leg, with a row of flowers going up the legs. I think it makes such a lovely statement without being super bold – it gets looks for sure, but with the tulle base, it works so well with the floral pattern. Plus it helps to make the legs look toned too!

The quality is really nice, but I will say you need to take extra care in this pair as tulle tights can easily snag and rip if you don’t. Luckily my eyes were on my legs for most of the day, which meant I didn’t end up with any snags or damage ๐Ÿ˜‰

The fit of these are true to size. I got a duo size pair, which meant I got some extra material to play with and that was enough to give me perfect leg coverage. I didn’t experience any gapping around the knees or ankles, which is always a good sign.

The feel of these were not as bad as you might think. They were a soft tulle, which means my legs didn’t feel irritated wearing these the whole day. Plus these don’t restrict skirts or dresses swaying past them, which is always a bonus.

The Toes & Ankle: these don’t come with reinforced toes, so those nails better be kept short and smooth otherwise you will end up poking a hole through these VERY easily!

I had plenty of wiggle room around my toes, and no pressure was adding during my wear either.

Around the feet and ankle, it was a smooth fitted finish with no wrinkling. I was worried as I didn’t want the tulle to loosen during my wear and end up sagging.

The Waistband & Gusset: so this is a great waistband I was working with today. It had plenty of stretch, it hugged the waist so well and it sat in place without moving an inch all day long. I was super impressed with the waistband on these.

Another great thing about this pair is that these have the tulle pattern going right to from the toe to the waistband, so you can pair up with anything short without any reinforced boxer brief part showing through.

My Thoughts?

I actually love this pair, and the floral print is just divine. The tulle I know not everyone will like, but I think it really sets it off nicely and it’s such a versatile pair. I would happily recommend ๐Ÿ™‚
