So I am naming this blog – The One With The Chair. I decided to utilise this gorgeous piece of furniture in my blog, and see how many types of poses I could do to showcase these Calzedonia tights.
This pair I bought in store when they were on sale, so I am not too sure if they are still around the purchase.
Materials: 85% polyamide, 12% elastane, 2% cotton
Website: No Longer Available
I need to start wearing more colours, instead of opting for black all the time. I paired up my shoulder padded jumper dress and added simple black court shoes to finish the look for work. I didn’t include the shoes into this review… because I couldn’t be bothered.
Jumper Dress: AX Paris
Heels: Onlymaker (not shown)
Getting Them On: as these are a tulle base with a flock print, I always take time getting them on as they can be very hit and miss. I find sometimes that they can get on really easy, and sometimes they can snag super quick.
I did my scrunch and roll up the legs, taking care of my anklets before setting them in place.
On The Legs: how gorgeous is this print? I did a promo on the BAD MOOD one not too long ago which I loved, so I had to get the flipside and feel grateful instead. The design is super feminine, with repeated flocked flowers and writing scattered over the legs.
The quality of this pair is always great; one reason why I like going for Calzedonia printed tights. These were kept damage-free for the whole day which I was super pleased about. I did find around the feet, the flocked print does start to rub away as it is rubbed against my shoes during the day.
The fit of these were perfect, and to size. I will always suggest going one size up if you are in-between sizes just so you’re comfortable and not having to tug them up around the waist. I had no gapping and no wrinkling with this pair.
The feel of them are lovely; if you’re not used to a tulle base they can feel slightly itchy but it does settle to the point you don’t feel it anymore. If you are not too sold on that, you can always wear a sheer pair underneath to act as a barrier.
The Toes & Ankle: so these come with a nice thick toe seam, with no reinforcement to them. I had to keep those nails short and smooth to wear these today, as I was not prepared to deal with any rips!
I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and no pressure was added during my wear either. Around the feet and ankles, I had a lovely smooth finish with no wrinkling as you can see below.
The Waistband & Gusset: these come with a thin waistband and a super thick reinforcement underneath it. These stay up in place all day without moving. They also don’t roll over themselves, or shimmy down either which is a bonus!
These also have a cotton gusset to them, which sits flush in place.
I love this pair. They are fun, they are feminine and they look awesome. Everything about them have been great, and I have loved being in them today!
