Calzedonia Eva All-Over Logo Tights

Well we are back out exploring London, and visiting Hyde Park for the first time! It’s a gorgeous day in London, and to make the most of this weather (yes there is a little breeze with it too) we went from Oxford Street all the way to Kensington by foot. It took us around an hour, taking in some gorgeous sights along the route. In that time, we decided to do a mini shoot along the way!

The Review

The Packaging

Getting Them On: now I wish I got these in a slightly bigger size – like S/M. I did feel I had to tug these up a little as they were fitting a little too snug for my liking. I had to roll them up, roll down and tug up a few times before I set them in place. I was so worried about ripping them, but they turned out to be all ok in the end.

On The Legs: and now this is where we had some fun. These images below were a mix of a walk in the park ad taking a break at Starbucks. I had such great lighting and this is where I wanted to make the most of it – the Vans came off and the legs were fully out! I know some people will be like “you’re in a public park with your shoes off” etc… However I didn’t really care to be honest. It was a great spot I picked where the grass was blooming and seemed ok to do this – so I did!

So let me tell you a story about this pair…
I went into Calzedonia to just have a look at their new stock and when I walked in, all the women working there took a glance at my legs. A few smirked and knew that it was one of their pairs. And the funniest thing was every singe person came to speak to me. When I have walked in their stores before, you find some rude people, some who want to genuinely help and some that are in a rush to get a sale and say bye. All these women actually wanted to chat and help me with their new styles.

The quality of this pair is super nice, and I enjoyed being in them today. After that little saga getting them on in the morning, they have been fine all day without any issues. They hardly snagged which I was surprised about, and there was no further damage to them.

The fit of these were a little snug, especially on the thighs. I would have certainly gone for S/M if I had known. They had some stretch to it, but not the usual amount I am used to. Never mind… they worked out well in the end so no complaints.

The feel of them are so soft, and really smooth to touch. They even have a lovely shine to them which I didn’t expect. They didn’t irritate at all either. They were a great pair to be in all day, especially in this heat.

The Toes & Ankle: so these come with no reinforcements around the toes, which is a shame. I did find a little pressure added during my wear, but it’s nothing a little pinch away from the toes won’t sort out.

I did have enough wiggle room for my toes not to feel cramped in these either.

Around the feet and ankles, these were a lovely smooth finish with no wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: I am gutted I forgot to take a picture of these when I got back home. There was no way the bands were coming out to play in the park, and it was dark when I got back too.

The design worked right up to the waistband, so there is no reinforced boxer brief or cut off point on this pair. The band itself is really comfortable around the waist, and they didn’t roll down or budge during my wear today.

My Thoughts?

A pair I really like. I love the design, and I love the feel of these. The fit was a little off, but no biggie there. I would certainly recommend these!
