Calzedonia Eco Chevron Sheer Tights

Bring on bold patterns once again, as I have missed them. I used to love chevron designs back in the day, as they were so loud and just really added a statement to any outfit. So this is what I wanted to do with this simple attire I am working with today – make it a statement piece instead.

I got this pair whilst it was on sale, so I am am not too sure if they are still floating around or if you will need to purchase for an independent seller.

The Review

The Packaging

Getting Them On: I did my scrunch and roll as usual, slowly going over my anklets before working my way up the legs. Luckily these are pretty straight forward to get on, without having to pay too much attention.

On The Legs: I am loving this design!! I love how I have lined them up so they are equal on the legs, which really does make them pop! And I like the large chevron design; I have worked with smaller/thinner ones before, which I liked but these beat them by miles. They are just wanting to be seen!
I will mention here that he chevron design isn’t the cleanest; when stretched, they don’t have smooth straight lines to them. It is quite bobbly, some parts dipped in and some that are stretched out which isn’t great.

The quality is pretty good for an eco-friendly pair, however I did find that these damage quite quickly. I managed to get some sort of tear in it, which I have no idea happened considering it’s a spot where my shorts would have covered it. Apart from that, these have been great.

The fit of these are true to size, and fit me perfectly. There was enough stretch to them to achieve even leg coverage without having to tug at them so hard.

The feel of these are really soft, and smooth against the skin. I loved being in these the whole day as you could hardly tell they were on!

The Toes & Ankle: these don’t come with reinforced toes, however you do get the chevron design going right down to the toe seams. I did make sure my nails were smooth before getting these on.

I had plenty of wiggle room around the toes, and no pressure was added either. I had also have a smooth fitted finish around the ankles.

The Waistband & Gusset: I do like the band on these; they are slightly thicker and they hug the waist really well. What I didn’t like is that it does tend to roll over itself at times during the day which you could feel dig into you. These do have a nice amount of stretch to them, which I do like.

These also come with a cotton gusset, that sits flush against the skin.

My Thoughts?

These are great! They look amazing, and feel great on the legs too. I do love the design, even if it isn’t perfect as I would like it to be.
