Oh it has been a while since I have dropped a blog, and I do apologise; I have been really busy with my job and the business recently, which meant I had very little ‘me’ time.

But now I am back and hopefully blogging a little more! This pair I bought in the sale recently – and I had to get them purely because these would help create such great vintage-inspired looks!

My Outfit

Keeping with the polka dot theme, I paired up a polka dot wing dress with these tights and kept it simple with ankle strap heels. I added a short cardigan to this dress when I went out and about.

The Review

The Packaging

Getting Them On: I actually didn’t have to be super careful getting these on. These cute buttons were stuck on really well to this pair, so I didn’t have to be extra extra careful when lining up my seams. I rolled them up, and then slowly lined up at the back before setting them in place. There was a good amount of stretch, which meant the buttons went up to mid-thigh.

These were fine going over anklets too!

On The Legs: let me start with how great these look! I know I paired up with a polka dot dress instead of making these the statement piece, but I absolutely love this vintage vibe. These cute buttons are stuck on really well to the hosiery, so they don’t budge at all (believe me I did pick at the hard to see if they did come off easily). Another thing I love about the backseam is that they’re just a simple statement; bold and classy. You can either blend like I did or wear them with a simple outfit to really make it pop.

The quality of this pair is brilliant. They don’t snag easily and I managed to keep them away from harm all day long – to be fair the dressed help me here.

The fit was also amazing; there was plenty of stretch in them to get great leg coverage all over without it looking like I overstretched. There was also no gapping behind the knees or around the ankles either, which is always a good sign.

The feel of them are super soft and so smooth to touch, however I think these are microfiber which I know some people may not like. I didn’t have any issues in regards to itching, so it’s all good!

The Toes & Ankle: as you can see here, I have great coverage around the feet and toes. It isn’t fully stretched out so I have plenty of material for my toes to breathe, ad not pressure added during my wear.

Around the feet and ankles, it’s great smooth coverage with very little wrinkling. I expected some due to the thicker denier, but it wasn’t as much as I thought it would be.

The Waistband & Gusset: come with a great waistband. It is super comfortable, it is thick and it is so stretchy! It hugged me well during my wear, to the point I actually couldn’t feel it around the waist. It does sit a little high, but it wasn’t an issue at all. I didn’t feel it roll down itself or cause me any issues.

It has a cotton gusset in the middle, which does sit flush against the skin. This gives you the option to wear it with or without underwear.

My Thoughts?

Overall, I think these are a beautiful pair. I love the fit, I love the design and I totally recommend these. Plus the feel of them are amazing!!
