And hello new brand! Has anyone ever tried this as I have never even heard of them!
I came across these babes in TKMaxx (yep I left this one quite late from the others that I bought) and I had to do so many others before I could get round to doing these, but damn! These were worth the wait!
Our traditional Argyle pattern, the diamond with overcheck, is deeply rooted in British history. As early as the 18th century, it was known as a symbol of affiliation with the Scottish clans. The most powerful of these clans, the Campbells of Argyle, ultimately made this pattern popular on socks.
The individuality and strength of this style has been preserved to this very day and looks modern around the world. As an expression of a unique lifestyle that interprets international ‘Brit Style’ and playfully interacts with tradition, this fashion can’t be defined – except by you.

Making those legs statement again, I went with my studded jumper dress as it was enough to make a small statement at the top and let the legs do the talking below.
I paired up with my suede court shoes (I am seriously living out of these – I need to stop!)
I added small studs and left my hair down as it was a casual one at work today!
Jumper Dress: AX Paris
The Packaging: ooooo I’m excited! Right so the front shows the model wearing the hosiery with the brand, no name of the model of the tights and a small diamond window at the top.
Flipping it over, the back has a small peep hole in the middle along with the sizing guide, hosiery care and the following:
“Fine sheer tights with an elongates diamond pattern.
Different degrees of transparency form a tonal diamond pattern.
Optimal wear comfort due to skin-friendly cotton gusset and discreet soft-seam finishing at toe and on panty.
Feminine look with filigree filet diamond pattern below the waistband.”
Once you get inside, you find these neatly wrapped around cardboard with no signs of a piece slipped inside the hosiery.
Getting Them On: getting them out the packaging, you will find these subtly shaped to the legs, which means you can just follow the pressed seam down and get them lined up on the toes without any issues.
I did scrunch and roll only on one leg and then pulled up on the other (the left leg without the anklet) and both ways were fine. I would be careful over anklets as the inside of them seem like they would catch onto sharp anklets.
On The Legs: WOW! Just wow! I absolutely love them! They look amazing on the legs, and actually look slightly slimmer to be honest. I have to admit designs as bold as this can be a hit-and-miss sometimes, but I gotta say this time it’s a HIT!
They feel amazing on the legs; they’re a matte finish which means these are real soft. The only downside with them being a proper matte is that fluff will catch on so you do need to dust now and again.
Rolling them on, they felt so soft going up the legs too, like not a proper gritty feel that you can get sometimes but a lovely smooth run up!
They hug the legs great and I had no issues at all with them moving throughout the day.
Now the best thing about these is that they hardly snag; I thought I caught it a few times, but in fact, I didn’t. And even better, if you did snag them, it wouldn’t be that visible due to the heavy pattern (unless you get it in the sheer part then you’re screwed!)
The Design: now I mentioned about the fluffy part, which you will see in a ringed image below throughout the slideshow!
The design itself is just great; I love the way it looks and it doesn’t matter if it does stretch near the top either. I know you can get some that you’re like sh*t it’s stretched too much and now looks horrible – this isn’t one of them. If anything I quite like the contrast from the perfect diamonds on the bottom half and then let it stretch slightly at the top!
The Toes & Ankles: these do have a strip going across them at the front, which I would like to say is reinforcement, but it doesn’t state it anywhere that they are! There is plenty of wiggle room in these and no extra material gaping at the sides anywhere either.
Around the ankles, these fit real good, which means no extra gatherings around this section!
The Waistband & Gusset: this band is just heaven! It’s slim one as you can see in the images below, and what I like about these is that they have a label in them so you know front from back. It gives you the brand and the size of the hosiery in case you ever need to know in the future.
It’s really comfortable, doesn’t dig in at all and you can hardly feel it on during the day. In regards to the hold, these are great. They don’t slip down and they don’t roll over itself either if you’re sitting for long periods.
The gusset is a cotton one which doesn’t feel like it would irritate the skin; it feels really soft and smooth.
If you can get your hands on a pair of Burlington, then do so because they are great. The quality is fab, the design is just so out there but looks really sophisticated if dressed the right way.
I love the feel of them too; so soft and you can tell this is real good material used – especially if they are associated with Falke!
Overall? Yep I’m happy with these!
