Another new brand to the blog, and this time I have no information about them! This pair I had managed to find cheap on eBay to review, and after a lot of time Googling to see if I could find any background info for you – NADA!
If you do manage to find some information about this brand, then please do let me know as I would love to have a little something about them on here!
Colour: Mesh Grey
Materials: 100% Nylon
Price & Website: Unknown
How else can I wear grey? Well now let me experiment with some colour! I went with my floral tunic dress and added my patent nude heels. I could have worn grey heels, but I felt they were pretty boring so I opted for nudes instead.
Stockings: Beautiful Stockings
The Packaging: so to begin with I was baffled to see that these were a grey pair that I bought. The listing never mentioned a colour so I assumed they would be tan. When I saw the packaging up close, I realised these were a very light grey instead. I have no idea how it could seem so different but hey…
These have very little information about them, and when you get in you will find them wrapped around plain card.
These have foot and leg shaping to them, so they’ll be easy to get on.
Getting Them On:
On The Legs: let me start off with the colour. Even though they state grey, they are a mix of light lilac and grey depending on the lighting. I have to say I really do like them as they are so different to they greys I have done in the past. I suppose your skin colour will also make a difference to how they shade as well I feel as they are so light coloured.
The quality of these are pretty nice I have to say; they are a very fine net which I showed in the video above but it doesn’t look like it once they’re on unless you look right up close. I will say this also makes it easy to snag them; luckily I didn’t but just saying it really could. There is no stretch in these whatsoever, so if these are not the right size for you, there isn’t much you can do about it. I did notice that on the feet, which I will get into further down.
The fit of them are true to size, and for me I felt they were slightly small. They sat so well on the legs and didn’t feel restricting in any way, but around the thighs I felt it the most as I could feel the tug between the band and the belt.
The feel of them are slightly grainy but not rough in any way. These are a smooth silky net on the legs, which do not irritate whilst you’re in them. They do glide off the legs when crossed which I liked, and they do have a little shine to them when flash is on.
The Toes & Ankle: so the toes I felt were slightly cramped but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. It was to begin with when I first got them on, but after I started walking around they eased and were fine. No pressure was added onto the feet or toes.
Let me also mention the reinforced heel; this normally encases the full heel, and sadly these did not. They sat underneath and barely curved round at the back.
Around the ankles, these were a smooth and fitted finish, with no wrinkles in sight.
The Bands: as these were running slightly small for me, this meant the bands were sitting further down the leg than I would have liked it too. I had to adjust my clasps so they would sit a little lower but still enough to tug them up so they weren’t looking loose.
I do like the bands on these; they have that lovely thicker denier band to them, and they hold up so well with metal clasps. Even if you opted for plastic, I think they will work well too.
The bands are really smooth against the skin too; how they look is what they feel like. They also open up a little so they fit your thighs well rather than a tight muffin top on the thighs!
I’m glad I got to give these a go, but I have to say I would need to go one size up so they fit where they’re supposed to. I liked the colour as it was unique and can work so well for Spring/Summer.
