I do love this brand, but I have noticed their quality isn’t the same as before. So I am hoping these beauties don’t let me down today.

My Outfit

Going a little glam today – because I have had this dress gifted for so long and never showcased it. Well now I am, for a night out look. I paired the dress with my backseam tights and simple black suede sandals. You can always opt for gold sandals if you want to create a statement piece.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: with a backseam, I always take my time as I want to make sure I line them up as best as I can before setting them in place. I usually do my scrunch and roll, taking care going over my anklets before I roll them up as neatly as possible.

On The Legs: oh this is lovely! I love the lurex backseam from the soles leading up to the ankle piece and then back into a seam before it becomes a great thigh piece at the back. There is a lot going on, but I absolutely love it. It’s simple yet effective, which is something you want with an effortless outfit (or a glam one in this case). The contrast with the plain front is somethign I think works so well, and it doesn’t become too much!

One thig I will mention is the stitching could be so much better, and cleaner. Some parts seem unfinished and just messy when you look up close.

The quality of this pair is a lot better than what I have tried previously; I managed to keep these pristine as possible, which I thought would be so hard to do in this dress, but it worked. I kept it damage-free all day long!

The fit of these are great; these have plenty of stretch to them, so you can achieve even leg coverage and not have to worry about tugging at them. I would advise going a size up if you prefer having a little extra room.

The feel of these are smooth, but a little grainy in parts. I found some grainy parts randomly on the legs, which is weird but hey ho. The lurex can be slightly itchy, but it hasn’t been as bad as other brands I have tried before. These are pretty tame, but you can always add a base layer if needs be to stop it from irritating your skin.

The Toes & Ankle: these come with subtle reinforced toes; they aren’t as thick in denier as I thought they might be. I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and no pressure was added around my toes during the evening. The reinforcement itself has a curved shape to them, which covers a lot of the big toe at the sides and then curves around the tips of the toes.

Around the feet and ankles, it’s a smooth fitted finish, with no wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: and then you have a lovely decorative piece sitting under the waistband and reinforcement. This goes around the front and back of the tights, and honestly it is lovely, but I am only willing to show so much on here.

The band itself is a slim on, with a nice thick reinforced piece sitting underneath it. It has plenty of stretch to it, and it doesn’t shimmy down or roll over itself either which is great news.

My Thoughts?

Such a great pair, and one that I am happy with for a change. I love the design, along with the quality of this pair and one I will happily recommend if you love styles like this.
