Boss mode is on and I am feeling pretty good today. I spent a little while this morning trying to plan an outfit with these tights, and I decided to stop thinking and pull out what I felt like wearing. As it is a little nippy this early morning, I thought a jumper dress would be the weapon of choice paired with statement tights and heels.
This pair I bought whilst they were in the sale, however I think they are back to full price now.
Size: Small (UK 8-10)
Materials: 92% Nylon, 8% Elastane
I know it’s a super simple outfit, but I decided to put colour to one side today and keep it all one tone with a pop of colour. I paired up y tights with my jumper dress with balloon sleeves and added my red slingbacks to give it that oomph!

High-key into these tights
Getting Them On: so I felt these aren’t the best tights to get on. As soon as I did my scrunch and roll, I felt these were quite rough and you can tell they aren’t amazing quality. However, I won’t let that stop me being in them all day to test them out!
These were fine going over anklets too, as long as they aren’t sharp.
On The Legs: I went a little trigger happy with my images today, and all because I love this design. It’s something different to the crisscross / diamond patterns you get out there, and I really like it. To be honest I don’t know what the actual design is, however I am rolling with it as I really like it. It gave that extra something to turn a simple outfit into a ‘oh yes’ kinda one **insert winky face here**.
The quality of these I feel do let it down. I was fine in this pair I will say, but I don’t see these lasting a long time. Even if they are cheap, I still want a pair to last me at least some good wears. These didn’t rip or snag until I got my shoes off, which I am super happy that it wasn’t the legs or thighs. It’s the material that lets it down for me personally.
The fit of these were great. This size allowed me enough stretch and room to get them on without tugging so hard, so they sit on the legs well. I liked that there was no gapping or wrinkling either. With ASOS sizing, I will say make sure you check before you purchase otherwise there is no harm going one size up.
The feel of them are ok. They are soft to touch, and quite smooth on the legs. I did find them to be a little grainy when they are over-stretched (on me it’s the thighs). Apart from that, I thought they were nice. I just wish they were made a little better so I know they would last me longer!
The Toes & Ankle: and here is where I managed to snag them up a little. I have no idea how, but it happened. Luckily it isn’t too noticeable.
The toes don’t come reinforced, so you will need to keep an eye on those nails to make sure they are not too sharp/long. I did have plenty of wiggle room for my toes, and no pressure was added during the day either.
Around the feet and ankles, I had a lovely smooth, wrinkle-free finish. I do like how the design starts from the toe seams, so you can wear any type of footwear you like if you really ant to show them off.
The Waistband & Gusset: now these come with a reinforced boxer brief. I have no idea why, as this is mainly for one sized or larger sized pairs. But we have one here, so I just gotta work with it. I do find these limiting, especially when you want to wear something short.
This starts from the top thigh on me and works all the way to the waistband.
The waistband itself – I had plenty of stretch in these and they sat so well on me during the day. I didn’t feel these dig in, roll down, shimmy down my waist or just be a pain in general. It was a great band for sure.
I do like this pair, and I really like how unique the design is. I thought the fit was good, however the quality not so much. I would still recommend these though!
