Aristoc Hourglass Toner Tights

So how can you dress up toner tights? Well seeing as I would normally wear anything ‘toning’ either with bodycon dresses for work or if I want to feel great for an evening out. I decided to do a ‘going out’ look for you all today, purely because I wanted to wear this playsuit again!

Now I know a lot of people will be like “Soni you don’t need toning tights” – however I do like wearing them if I’m feeling a little bloated, if I don’t feel great within myself or if I just fancy wearing a pair that I know will give me a great shape under my clothing.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: so my scrunch and roll was a little tougher to do this time, as I had the control top that restricted me a little. I did feel it slightly tighten as I kept scrunching down, but they were still easy to get on and there was no actual issue. It’s something to note when getting on shaper hosiery that it can feel a little tighter.

On The Legs: I love how sheer these are! They look amazing on the legs, and something that I can wear all the time if I wanted. These are 10 denier (but look more like 15) however you will need to take care in these as they will be delicate. I say this as I managed to snag these very easily, and I thought I was taking SUPER EXTRA care being in them.

The fit of these are true to size, and I had enough stretch in them to get good leg coverage without it feeling too tight. I would recommend checking the sizing guide before purchasing, especially as you’re working with a shaper pair. I loved that they hugged the legs really well and I didn’t have to tug these up to make them sit right.

The feel of them are super soft and silky to touch, both inside and out. These don’t irritate the skin at all, and they are lovely to be in all day.

The Toes & Ankle: a bonus little point is these come with reinforced toes to them, that shade slightly darker. This didn’t bother me with wearing open toe sandals, as I felt it blended well without looking out of place.

I had plenty of stretch around the toes, so they didn’t feel cramped at all and no pressure was added. I also love how I have a smooth fitted finish around the feet and ankles too.

The Waistband & Gusset: now this is where the toner part comes in. It started high thigh (which was nicely covered by my playsuit) and works all the way up the waist. It does sit higher than normal tights, however we are being toned here people! I actually though it was super comfortable to wear; you have that thick ribbed elasticated waist which is where the band would normally sit. Around this part, I didn’t feel squeezed in any way and I was able to move with hardly any restrictions.

Further up the torso, these actually sat pretty flush against the skin. I did have parts that did wrinkle up, but that takes some getting used to. I hardly wear shapewear like this, so it took me a while to get used to it. Apart from that, the band at the top sat well on me and didn’t roll down on itself.

Around the thigh, these don’t squeeze, giving you a little skin muffin. I like that, especially as I was wearing an outfit that would have showed it off. I was really impressed with this, and I would certainly wear this again under fitted clothing to give me a more toned and flush look under my clothing.

My Thoughts?

I would happily recommend this pair for sure; I felt it worked well for me and I love that they have 10 deniers paired with the toner part – normally it’s paired with higher deniers. It fit me really well, I still felt comfortable no matter what I did and the quality of the toner part was great. I did manage to snag these up a little, but apart from that I really liked the quality!

  1. The whole concept of the panty going beyond the waist and finished just below the bra is difficult for the majority of ladies to get there head around, thus it interesting that you think it takes a little getting used to but seam to feel it’s comfortable when you have got used to them.
