I know many people don’t really like pairs like this, however I find them quite fun. As much as I love dressing sophisticated, I do like to have some fun with my outfits from time to time – and today is one of those days.

I added these to my Amazon Wishlist a while back, and I finally got round to getting a review done on them!

My Outfit

I decided to keep it simple with a black and blue combo. I went with a floaty number and added my suede court shoes to finish the look. You could always go for coloured heels to really make it pop; I wanted to be an outfit you could easily wear to work.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: these were super easy to get on, however I managed to get my anklet caught in them and they ended up snagging. That is the first time that has happened in a VERY LONG TIME! Apart from that little blip, they rolled on very well.

On The Legs: now let me start off saying that this was supposed to be ‘rainbow’ – however I’ve ended up with blue instead for some reason. It’s not a huge issue, but I was hoping for some more colour … Never mind. I do like this blue however – it’s something quite magical!

The quality of this pair isn’t too bad; I mean I did manage to snag them whilst getting them on, and luckily no others occurred. I will say they did last very well during the day; no further snags or rips. I do feel they could have been a little better but I won’t complain here.

The fit of these I would say run a tad small; these did fit me ok however I did have to really tug at these to make them sit around my waist properly. I didn’t think that their sizing would be too bad as I’ve reviewed them in the past – but this time I felt like it was an issue. Putting the negatives aside, these did fit well around places that would have gapping; around the knees, ankles etc. I felt they hugged the legs well there.

The feel of them are really soft – and that amazed me. Inside the tights, it is super smooth and doesn’t irritate the skin like other pairs would, and the outside feels quite smooth. I felt they were fine to be in all day, and I didn’t have any issues with how they felt on otherwise. This was probably the highlight!

The denier is supposed to be 30; it feels like 3, however looks like 15-20. I love that sheerness they have to them, which makes them wearable all year round too. You can easily layer if you wish to, however I like them on their own here.

Now I did a mix of flash and natural lighting images, so you can see the difference in colour; it really does pack a shine when the flash hits them.

The Toes & Ankle: have a great reinforcement part to them. As you can see below, they toes are black and have great coverage. I do wish they were the same colour as the rest of the tights so it would be easy to pair up with open toe heels or sandals.

I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes, and there was no pressure added onto my toes. I did feel when I tugged them up that there were times that I had to pinch at the toes to give them some room – apart from that, it was fine.

Around the feet and ankles, these have a smooth, fitted finish.

The Waistband & Gusset: as you can see we are working with a slim waistband, and this is what was causing issues to begin with. It does have some elasticity to it, however not like the normal amount you would get. They did hold up the best they could, however it was a struggle at times.

I will say they these didn’t roll down on themselves, however did shimmy down from time to time when I was on the move. These also do have a boxer brief to them, which starts from the waistband and sits at the top of the thigh. I wasn’t too keen on this to be honest as it did look cheap and lacked quality in my eyes, however I will keep the moaning to a minimum here.

These do have cotton gusset to them, which does sit against the skin at times when it isn’t pulling away.

My Thoughts?

I wish these were made better. I felt they lacked quality and the sizing was an issue for sure. I would only recommend on the basis that the colour is gorgeous and that shine is just incredible – otherwise I would say don’t bother.
