Andrea Bucci 30D Floral Knee High

I am trialling out another pair of knee high socks/nylons – whatever you wish to call them! So let me tell you why I wanted to do a review on this pair:

  1. I loved the design and how they looked on the model – marketing done right there.
  2. I wanted to create a fashion statement look – I got some inspo from Falke last year.

I saw some images on Falke’s Instagram page, and I was so eager to try out one on their looks. I didn’t know how to do it at first, as I hardly expose knee highs with an outfit, but this time I wanted that; I wanted them exposed.

I hope you all enjoy the review; I know there are some knee high fans here!

The Review

From The Website: From the Andrea Bucci range, 30 denier luxury soft floral design knee high with comfort top.

1-pack
30 denier
96% nylon, 4% elastane
Machine washable 30°

The Packaging: I ordered these online and they came packaged like so. The front shows the model wearing the pair on the front with court shoes, and the back goes into a little more detail.

When you get in, you will find them wrapped around plain card, neatly flat folded so there is no foot or leg shaping to them.

Getting Them On:

On The Legs: well don’t these look fancy! I know some of you are gonna be judging this look thinking “What is she doing?” but do you know what? I am digging this and I think it looks pretty awesome. It’s something different and I love that I could copy a catwalk look!

I like how heavy this design is on the legs, which makes them the focal point. The are laced from the toes to the bands, and I think they look amazing. I love my tights and holdups with this pattern, but to have them as knee highs – it’s even better! I also have the ability to wear them under trousers without worrying about waistband or full leg coverage when I just want the bottom half of my legs to be on show.

The quality of these are lovely; I have reviewed this brand before in a pair of holdups (see this on my IG and other social media) , and I really liked the quality of them. They feel luxurious and they are affordable, which is something I love.

Even though these state they are a one size pair, please be aware that it is UK shoe size 4-8 on women that they are basing this on. For me, I had enough stretch and they fit me so well. I didn’t have any ombre effect on the legs at any point and it was even coverage, but be aware these can stretch out to become a lot sheerer if your legs/feet are bigger.

The feel of them are so soft, and at no point do they itch the legs either. The lace you can see on your fingertips, which some people may not like. I thought they were lovely for sure.

As I haven’t got a separate section for the bands, I will mention it here; they are great. They don’t fall down the legs at all (mine did slide as I sat them just under the knees so they were bound to slide down slightly) and neither do they roll to create a bunched up band. They are super comfy and you hardly feel them on the legs. They have plenty of stretch in them so they hug the legs without leaving markings behind.

Around The Toes & Ankle: so these don’t have reinforced toes, which is a shame to be honest but no biggie. I just had to make sure that my nails were smooth and not sharp before getting them on. I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to move and there was no pressure added around this area during the day.

I love how the design starts from the toe seams; it makes it perfect to pair them with open toe shoes to be honest like I did. I could easily pair up with court shoes or any other styles, but it’s sometimes nice to free the toes and show them off as a statement piece.

Around the feet and ankles, I had enough stretch for a good even coverage and they fit perfectly with no wrinkles either.

My Thoughts?

These are such a great pair, and not a bad price to pay either. I would happily recommend these if you love knee high nylon socks and bold patterns!
