Back into another pair of AA (or known as American Apparel) we go, and this time I have an unusual colour to work with. I thought this was a mustard colour, but it’s actually named Tobacco.

Denier: Around 20
Price & Website: Unknown
I wanted to create something different, and I went with this look. I paired up my ribbed crop top with my floral pencil skirt and added tan heels to make it look smart casual.
Tights: American Apparel
The Packaging: like all the others I have tried out, this came in a small plastic packet. IT has the model wearing them on the front along with the brand name, model name and size. It doesn’t state much when you flip over.
When you get in, you will find the wrapped around plain card. This comes with minimal foot shaping to it, purely for the backseam.
Getting Them On: I have to say that backseam was a mission to try and get in place. I had to keep wiggling it every so often to make sure it sits as straight as it can. It was a mission, but I got there in the end.
Oh.. and I used my scrunch and roll technique here.
On The Legs: well the colour is interesting; that’s for sure. I wasn’t too sure what to expect but I weirdly like it. I mean it’s not a colour I would ever choose, but it seems to work with the outfit so I kinda like it a little. I don’t know – I mean it will work for some of you, but I know a lot of people are gonna be like ‘HUH?’ to this! I will say the addition of a backseam worked out well here as it does pop.
The quality of these are not bad; they worked for me all day whilst I was in them and they didn’t snag or rip. I had enough stretch in them for good sheer leg coverage.
The fit is as I mentioned above; it works for my leg length and width and I had enough stretch in them so it didn’t cause any issues. The feel is pretty smooth and soft on the skin. Your legs shouldn’t irritate in them as mine certainly didn’t.
This pair is super similar to the others pairs I have done so I won’t be saying much here.
The Toes & Ankle: I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to move and no pressure was added either. I don’t think the toes are reinforced on this pair, so please do be careful with long/sharp nails.
Around the feet and ankles, I had a lovely fitted finish with no wrinkles.
The Waistband & Gusset: I am working with a lovely thick band that sits around my belly button. This doesn’t roll over itself or crinkle down as much as I expected it to, which is great.
It has plenty of elasticity to it and doesn’t shimmy down the waist either. It hugs the waist well and is super comfy to wear.
The gusset is super small, as you will see further below and sits flush against the skin.
Not a bad pair, but I’m still undecided about the colour to be honest. The quality was great, the fit was awesome and overall they are pretty cool!
