My Outfit

I am re-creating a similar outfit I did a while ago because I loved it so much! I went with my red bodysuit, paired with my polka dot split skirt and added cute peep toe shoes to complete the look.

The Review

The Packaging

Getting Them On: I was a little sceptical with the length of these, but we are good! The hosiery gloves came on to do my scrunch and roll, before sliding them up the thighs and setting them in place.

I used a 8 clasp suspender belt.

On The Legs: Oh let me say that this colour is lovely! I love a darker tan shade, even though this is supposed to be ‘nude’. You can see it against my skin tone that these are darker.

The quality of these are so good! They are made really well, and what you expect from vintage stockings. They didn’t end up snagging, which I was super pleased with!

The fit of these were spot on for me. I had enough room in them, and there was minimal wrinkling around the ankles and knees. I believe the sizing is for the feet and leg (mainly the feet) – I have no idea how they work it out, but these were spot on.

The feel of them were dreamy; they were such a delight to be in. They were super smooth, so soft against the skin and I had no irritation either.

The Toes & Ankle: now we have a fair bit going on here. We have reinforced toes. We have reinforced heels, and also with a seam just sitting under the sole. The seam was no bother at all.

I had enough room around the toe area, so they didn’t feel squished.

Around the ankles, there was no wrinkling to be honest. I was pretty impressed.

The Bands: the welts are my favourite part. I love the double thing going on; the main welt with the reinforcement underneath. The main welt is easy to clasp onto with no issues. It’s the band all around with no keyhole.

These also stretch out so they sit against the thighs without them being squished too. But once they’ve stretched out, that’s the way it’ll stay until I next wear them again.

My Thoughts?

These were so much fun to be in. These felt like proper vintage stockings, and I loved every second of it. I love the fit, I love the feel, I love the look and the colour is divine too!
