The Packaging: these came boxed as shown below. When opened, they are wrapped gently in branded tissue paper.

One thing I did really like was they had plastic foot moulds inside the heels, so they keep the shaping intact. Not many brands do this – but I really did like that.

I did a little examination and I can confirm they were completely pristine – apart from under the heel where you see the red pigment rub off onto the heels. It’s not noticeable until you look up close – I thought that was a little odd.

Getting Them On: these have a small zip at the back, so I would advise taking care when if you’re wearing hosiery. I slipped my foot in, taking care around the zip part and slid my foot right in. They are super easy to get into and I didn’t have to wiggle into them like you would in similar heels.

On The Feet: let me start off with saying how comfortable these are to wear. I was in them for most of today, and they are really comfortable to be in for hours on end. If you’re used to wearing high heels, then these will feel slightly lower than usual, but a lot more enjoyable to be in to run errands, go dancing in etc. I thought the height was lovely on these, although I do know some may find it too high if you’re not used to it.

The colour is another big plus point in my eyes; the red is just stunning and against that faux suede it really does pop against darker hosiery. This is a pair that you can dress up or down really; I could easily wear this out to dinner but also on a shopping trip with leggings or a pair of jeans and a simple t-shirt.

The design is another favourite; the gold clasp detailing that is dotted around the front really does bring them to life. it’s super eye-catching and really does look lovely. I know for sure against tan hosiery or bare feet, these would look amazing.

The fit of them are true to size on me, and I normally am between UK 5 and 6, so opting for UK 5 was a great move as they were the perfect fit with hosiery on. I know that it might be a little snug if I was in them barefoot, but I’ll deal with that when I decide to wear them without tights on!

The quality of them are amazing; I do love Aldo for that reason as they’re quality is pretty great and hasn’t let me down. I have got a few heels of theirs and they are still going strong to this day, so I know these will be lasting me a good while!

The feel of them are like you’re touching velvet. They are really soft and smooth, and I would recommend protecting them before you go out in them. I made sure I did so it doesn’t affect the material as much as it would without shoe protector on them.

Let me just add that the zip doesn’t irritate the back of my foot either. I know that shoes can be a pain like that, but I can safely say that I had no problems with it during the day. It didn’t snag my tights, it didn’t give me any nasty blisters and they were a super pair!

My Thoughts?

A great pair of red heels to add to my collection. I haven’t got many, especially looking as great as these do. I love the quality of them, I love the fit and I love the way they look when they’re on the feet too! I would certainly recommend this pair if you’re into sandals like these!
