Adrian Penny Tights

Okay we are bringing some opaques in now – I can’t keep putting it off! I wanted to create a cutesy outfit, that reflects my mood today so here we are. Plus it’s spooky season, and I wanted to create a darker look seeing it’s Halloween tomorrow!

My Outfit

Keeping it dark today, because I was in that typa mood. I went with my oversized jumper paired with my lace shorts and added simple ankle strap heels to finish the look. To just oomph it a little more, I added my studded choker.

The Review

From The Website: Hardly anyone can resist these chic tights because of a cute small hearts pattern. The hearts immediately catch everyone’s eye and no matter whether classically elegant, playful or with a romantic touch. The tights adapt harmoniously to your individual style. The tights are with gusset, high wearing comfort and a good fit. Semi opaque tights. Perfect to work, party or everyday use.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: these were a simple glide up the legs and off you go! I didn’t have to faff too much with this pair, and they were fine going over anklets too.

On The Legs: the white hearts are a super cute addition to this pair, and they are stitched in well too. There is no hanging threads or missing sections from the design, proving they are well made. The one thing I didn’t like is how the legs aren’t even in terms of the opacity; there are chunks where it’s stretched out and where it shades darker. This is quite noticeable too, which is a shame as there wasn’t a way for me to fix that.

The quality of these are lovely; they don’t snag easily which is a biggie for me, and I love that they stayed pristine looking all day long. I do like the way Adrian make their hosiery.

The fit of these were fine for me, and I had enough stretch. I would advise going a size up if you are in-between sizes or if you are after an opaque, even finish on the legs. I had no gapping or wrinkling around the knees or ankles, which is a good sign.

The feel of these have that microfiber feel, which I know some people aren’t a fan of. I quite liked them, and they didn’t irritate my skin either. They are soft, smooth and lovely to wear.

The Toes & Ankle: these don’t come with reinforced toes to them, which is a shame but never mind. I made sure to keep my nails as smooth and short as possible in this pair, so I don’t end up damaging it on my 1st wear.

I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and no pressure was added either. Around the feet and ankles, I had a smooth finish with no wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: as you can see below, the design works right to the waist, with a little space just under the waistband. The band itself is great; it holds up well all day and it stays looking this smooth all day with no issues. I didn’t feel them fall down or shimmy its way South!

My Thoughts?

For an opaque pair, these are worth getting. I love the simple design on them, and they are uber comfortable to wear. The only downside is that blocking, otherwise I really liked these.
