Can you tell I’m in a certain mood with these awesome vintage-like dresses? This time I wanted to so super cute with a sailor-type one and add some holdups to make it pop! I was going to pair up with white pumps, but then opted for court shoes instead!

I thought this swing dress paired up really well against these holdups, and the white patent court shoes really set it too. This dress is an adjustable halter neck one, so you can sit it high or low!

The Packaging

Getting Them On: I took some time getting these on today, as I had a whole seam from the toes to the bands to deal with – and I wanted to make sure I get them as straight as possible. I took my time to roll up above my anklets, and then glided them up the legs before setting in place. I sat these around mid-high thigh.

On The Legs: well aren’t these dainty!? When I first saw them, I thought these looked ok, but on the legs they look so adorable! I really love that I paired it with this dress instead of one for work, as this whole look is super cute! I love that dotted backseam with a black and white mix, and then having a lovely design around the bands. I think this pair is amazing!
I will get into the band detail further down the blog.

The quality of this pair are great; they lasted me very well during the day without any snags or rips. I thought I caught them a few times with my bag, however nothing was showing up. These have a lovely amount of stretch to them as well, so they sit flush against my legs all day without moving around.

The fit of these are perfect; I had plenty of stretch in them to sit them higher up the thighs and there was no gapping either. I would recommend checking the sizing guide before purchasing just to make sure you have the right size.

The feel of these are lovely; they are soft, they are smooth and they feel great against the legs. These don’t irritate the skin at all, and they are comfortable to be in all day without any issues. I had a lovely smooth, silky finish on the inside and outside of the legs, so my dress could glide right past them.

I will also add here that I love the base colour. I thought it might have been too light for my skin tone, however it wasn’t at all. It shaded really well and looked so natural.

The Toes & Ankle: now how awesome do the seams look! You can tell these have reinforced toes as the strip is a slight shade darker on the toes, and the seam doesn’t start until the bottom of it. They cover the toes really well, and I still had plenty of wiggle room for them to move and breathe.

Around the feet and ankles, I had a smooth fitted finish.

The Bands: now this is where the bands add some spice to the whole look! Not only are we working with a lovely thick floral band, but we have a nice design under them, surrounded by white polka dots stitched in.

I think the whole design works really well, and I also like how it slightly wraps around the front under the bands too. It’s completely different to what I have seen out there, and I really like these.

Now the band themselves are great. They start off with some tackiness, and they hold that all day without it being lost. I normally tend to test it by removing them from the skin a few times, to check if it lessens. However, it didn’t with me.

I also have 2 silicone bands holding these up, with a nice amount of stretch so it can sit wherever I place them on the thighs and the tackiness is not compromised.

My Thoughts?

These are a really beautiful pair, and I am so happy that these are in my life. They are a lovely chic pair with a lot to give. The design is beautiful, the fit is perfect and they feel amazing. I would happily recommend this pair!
