Wolford Fleur De Lys Tights (Turquoise)

Next up is Wolford – now I am really excited to try these out!

Wolford has long been synonymous with luxury and innovation in hosiery, and their Fleur De Lys Tights in turquoise are a stunning nod to both elegance and bold style. The Fleur De Lys motif, a symbol historically associated with royalty and sophistication, adds a touch of regal charm to these modern tights. Turquoise, vibrant yet versatile, brings a playful twist to the classic design, making them perfect for adding a statement to any outfit. Wearing these tights is like merging contemporary fashion with a hint of historical flair- a true celebration of artistry in hosiery.

The Review

The Packaging

Getting Them On: as these are pretty delicate, I got my Hosiery Gloves on to make sure I don’t end up snagging these whilst getting them on.

I took my time doing my scrunch and roll, just to ensure that I don’t stretch more than needed and to take care going over my anklets.

On The Legs: this design is so nice! It’s intricate on a mesh base, which adds to the whole overall look. I love that windy pattern, which works so well against florals (like my dress!) or paired with something plain to really be the showstopper!

The quality of these are really good, considering they felt very delicate. I maybe had one issue with a snag, but bar that, they have been amazing to be in.

The fit of these were great too; I wasn’t too sure about trying a Small, but these were fine. I had plenty of stretch in them so I could get even leg coverage without tugging at them.

The feel of them are slightly rough, due to the mesh base, but it’s nothing that would cause irritation. I felt completely fine in them, and easily spent all day with no worries.

The Toes & Ankle: these come with reinforced toes to them, which blend pretty well with the tights, so you gotta be sure to keep those nails short and smooth. I did have plenty of stretch in these, and no pressure was added during my wear.

Around the feet and ankles, I had a smooth fitted finish, with no wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: the waistband was a little let down for me; they kept rolling over on itself. It dug in slightly, leaving me a little uncomfortable at times.

These do come with a gusset, that sits flush against the skin, but it isn’t made of cotton. It’s part of the nylon material.

I do like that the design comes right to the top of the band, so you can wear shorter clothing without having to worry about a boxer brief getting in the way.

My Thoughts?

I thought these were lovely! They are a gorgeous design, and look amazing on. The colour really pops against the white too, which made me love them even more this time of year. The fit of these were great, bar the waistband doing its own thing and the quality was pretty great too.
