Now I have some pretty awesome Fogal pairs coming up for you all, and I wanted to begin with this one. I look like a sweet of some sort! This pair, amongst a bunch has been gifted for me to review by such a wonderful friend of mine, and I cannot wait to try them all for you to see.
If you have missed some of my previous Fogal reviews, you can catch them below (opens in a new tab):
Denier: Around 20
Materials: 85% polyamide, 15% elastane
Price & Website: Unknown
I thought I would keep it pretty basic and let the legs do the talking; I paired up my high neck skater skirt paired with my platform court shoes.
Heels: New Look
The Packaging: I have to say I was super excited to check these out. The front of the packaging doesn’t give anything away about them, until you check out the back. It has a medium-sized window along with a small description about the pair.
When you get in, you will find them wrapped around plain card and folded so you get the leg and foot shaping to them. These are quite long in size, so I am a little worried getting these on.
Getting Them On: okay so I take back being scared about the length. These fit me perfectly, and I didn’t need to tug them up so they sat properly. I did my usual scrunch and roll up the feet and around the ankles before I rolled them up the rest of the way. I would take care going over anklets as these can rip if they are sharp.
On The Legs: beauts how awesome is this design?! I mean they look like candy legs for sure. I wanted to really pair this with colour, but I was a little too hesitant because I didn’t want it looking too much or too silly. I certainly will have to next time for sure. So these are not a red-red, but more like a red with hints of an orange tone to them which makes the look so unique. The added stripes can either work wonders for your legs or make them look bigger than what they are.
The quality and fit of these are amazing; these fit the legs really well, they have a nice bit of stretch to them and they don’t snag easily either. I mean they would if you’re rough with them, but as I managed to stay super safe and not bash into anything I didn’t end up getting any (yay). The fit of these are true to size, with enough to give my legs good coverage without having to tug at them.
The feel of them are so lovely and smooth on the legs; they don’t irritate the legs at all and they are so soft to touch as well. As these aren’t a matte finish, these will have a slight bit of shine to them (I forgot to do flash photos – oops!)
The Toes & Ankle: so we are working with a reinforced toe here and I am loving it. Unfortunately these are no invisible as we have that smooth plain strip going across the back and front of the toes. My toes have plenty of wiggle room in them, and no pressure was added either once I got them on.
Around the feet and ankles, these have a smooth fitted finish with no wrinkles in sight.
The Waistband & Gusset: I gotta say this is one comfortable band. This sits around the belly button on me, and does not fall down at all whilst you’re in them. They hug the waist really well and does not roll down at all.
I do love how they have the brand name dotted around the band too.
The gusset is a palm-sized piece which sits flush against the skin, and is breathable.
I really do like these and think they are super unique. I love the way they look on the legs, and the quality is just superb too! I would certainly recommend if you manage to get your hands on them!
