Yep I have another pair of Vienne Milano holdups to review, and I wanted to save the cutest until last. I remember when I first saw these on their Twitter page – I fell in love instantly. They looked super cute and you can either dress it up smart or casual.
In this review, I wanted to focus on the legs only so I haven’t paired up with an outfit this time… Sorry!

The Packaging: these come in clear packaging with a small sticker on the bottom right to state the brand, model name, size and colour.
When you get in, you will find them neatly wrapped around card and folded so they have foot and leg shaping to them. I like when they do that with the backseam as it makes it so much easier to get them on.
Getting Them On: after scrunching, I slowly rolled them up the legs, taking care going over my anklets. I also had to make sure that my backseam was sitting straight and in line as well.
On The Legs: and now they are on and looking damn nice! These area very fine net, which you can see in my close up images. I think this works so well against the red backseam with the bow – it’s a mix of edgy and playful rolled into one. For those who aren’t a net fan, I can say these are so small and feel so smooth, they don’t actually look or feel like nets at all.
The quality of these are amazing as always; they hardly snag or rip as long as you take care when you’re in them. I had a nice bit of stretch in them however when you buy your size, you will find it will be a little hard to sit them higher. I tried and I had to really tug to get them further up the leg. These are made to sit mid-high thigh, so to sit it higher I would recommend going one size up so you can do so.
The fit of these are true to size, and they fit my leg length and width perfectly. They hugged the legs really well I felt as there was no gapping to be found. The feel of them are so soft and they don’t irritate the legs at all. I thought they might be slightly rough to touch as they are a small net, but this wasn’t the case at all.
The design I absolutely love; the red bold backseam with the bows sitting on the calves is just gorgeous. I have done a few pairs with red backseams before, but these stand out a lot more against the texture on these and that added bow really sets it off. And let me just say these really do make the legs look slimmer than what they are – WHICH I LOVE!
The Toes & Ankle: so these don’t have reinforced toes to them, so you will need to make sure your nails aren’t long or sharp otherwise they can rip through. I had plenty of wiggle room in these, even though the images below may look like my toes are cramped and tight.
I like how the backseam also starts right by the toes as well, so you can get your line up straight right from the beginning, although it may move a little underneath.
The feet and ankles have a smooth fitted finish to them, with no wrinkles.
The Bands: now this is one of the reasons I like Vienne Milano – their bands. They’re nice, thick and bold against the netting. They have double silicone bands at the top and they hold against the skin so well no matter how many times you prize it away.
I sat mine not too high up as I couldn’t, but even then I wasn’t complaining as my dress covered it.
I love the design on these, and the fact they are a soft small net which makes a nice change. You don’t see this style everyday, especially made with such quality! I would highly recommend!
