I normally tend to dress up these types of tights, but this time I wanted to create a smart casual outfit that you can rock them with. It took me a little while to put something together at first, but I decided to strip it all back and go to basics instead of over-thinking the outfit.
I mean you can easily layer it up with accessories or clothing, but for now I’m leaving it like this!
If you haven’t seen my other reviews which are similar pairs, hit the links below (opens in a new tab):
Colour: Nero Oro Var B
Materials: 79% Polyamide, 21% Elastane
As I mentioned at the start, I kept it casual and them glammed my legs to feet in golden goodness. I wore an oversized baggy t-shirt tucked into my faux leather shorts and added my gold Docs to finish it off. You can easily change these to plain white pumps, but I wanted to go all fancy dance seeing as I’m keeping it super simple.
T-Shirt: New Look
Boots: Dr Martens
From The Website: Vlinder is a word that means “butterfly”, a theme that runs through all of Trasparenze’s Festive Collection. Vlinder is the most subtle of their designs, with a light dusting of lurex that brings a beauty and majesty to your outfit instantly. It is ideal for Christmas and one of the perfect accessories for your New Year’s outfit too.
* 40 denier
* Glitter legs
* Tiny lurex dots
* 79% Polyamide
* 21% Elastane
The Packaging: is always so colourful with Trasparenze. You normally can spot their brand a mile away! The front shows the model wearing them on the front along with the brand and model name, and the back goes into little detail on the sizing guide and hosiery care.
When you get in, you will find these wrapped around promotional card on one side, and instructions on how to get your hosiery on and take it off to prolong the life of them. I always find this is great for those who are new to the hosiery world.
The come with slight foot shaping to them and folded so you see the Trasparenze brand name on the sides of the waistband.
Getting Them On: I have to say they were lovely to glide on the legs. The inside of them are pretty smooth, which I didn’t expect. I did my usual scrunch and roll from the toes up to the thighs, taking care going over my anklets.
On The Legs: can I just say that I thought these would be a lot darker on the legs, considering these are supposed to be 40 denier? I was expecting a darker shade with all this golden shine, but actually they are much lighter to the point I am thinking these are around 20 instead.
Maybe they just have the 40 denier ‘reinforcement’ to them but are way lighter!
Anyways I used a mix of natural lighting and flash (of course) to show you how amazing these can be. I thought they were too good to not have flash hit the legs!
The quality of these never fail me when it comes to Trasparenze. I love their brand because they’re reliable when it comes to durability. I had no snags whatsoever or any damage occur during the day to these, which I am super happy about. It might be that 40 denier ‘thickness’ coming into play here!
The fit of them are true to size, and I had plenty of stretch in them to make sure I got even coverage on the legs. I would always recommend checking the sizing guide before purchasing as sometimes they can turn out to be slightly baggier than expected.
The feel of them are so nice; they are actually pretty soft instead of being super grainy. I expected to feel some roughness on the legs, but nope I didn’t get that at all with these. If anything, I feel these top my previous pairs in that part. And the best part is that these don’t irritate your legs, so you constantly feel like you need to itch. You just go on about your day and treat these like a plain sheer pair!
I do love the black/gold finish on them for sure; it’s a little more bolder than my previous pairs (this is without flash on I mean) and I sure do love it! The best part is it works so well against my Docs!
The Toes & Ankle: well bring out the open toe sandals and shoes! Even though I was wearing boots this time, I would happily wear these with barely there sandals so the legs get maximum exposure. These don’t have reinforced toes to them, so you will need to watch those long/sharp nails though!
These have plenty of wiggle room around the toes, and no pressure is added onto them either. This also goes for the feet and ankles, so they’re left with a lovely fitted finish.
The Waistband & Gusset: is normally good to me, however I found this one rolling down itself from time to time which did bug me a little. As I was wearing baggy clothing, you couldn’t tell so I wasn’t too bothered. However, under bodycon dresses, this would be an issue when I’m sitting.
The band itself has a decent hold on the waist, and doesn’t lose elasticity easily either. It’s pretty slim as you can see below, and it sits around my belly button.
I do like how they have their brand in the gold lurex sparkle, which I thought was a lovely touch.
Another great thing is these come with reinforced boxer briefs, but not so great when you’re in shorts and you see it peering through when you’re sitting down!
As I didn’t take an image of the gusset, I wanted to mention this is palm sized and sits flush against the skin if you wish to go commando.
Another great pair Trasparenze! I love how gold they are without the flash, and the quality is always brilliant in my eyes. I would certainly recommend this pair if you can get your hands on them quick enough!
