Ah fishnets! It’s be a while and I have missed you greatly. Instead of dressing it for work, I wanted to go a little casual with it and create a ‘throw-it-on’ look instead.
This pair has been sent by the Levante brand, so it was a little hard to find a direct purchase link for Levante. I managed to find a pair on Amazon, which is currently still available if you’re quick enough.
Size: 1/2 (Small-Medium)

When I say casual, I mean super casual. I threw on my hoodie dress and some Timberland boots and rolled out the door this morning. I added some small gold hoops to finish off the look.

The Packaging: has the model wearing the tights on the front, and the back goes into a little more detail. When you get inside, you will find the pair wrapped with plain card inserted inside.
Folding these out, you will find these flat folded so you won’t see any leg or foot shaping to them.
Getting Them On: as these are micronets, it shouldn’t be hard to get these on at all. I did my scrunch and roll over my toes and anklets, and slowly rolled them up the legs.
They were completely fine over anklets as long as they are the type that don’t catch onto hosiery.
On The Legs: I love the way they look on the legs. These are a slightly thicker net, which means they will be a little more resistant to snags and rips, but I would still advise you to be careful being in them. I did have a few near misses today. I love the way they look;
this is what I call a classy pair of nets that can never look provocative when dressed correctly
The fit of them are amazing on the legs. I had plenty of stretch in these to make sure there was no gapping around the legs and feet, and they don’t end up falling down or stretching out too much that it becomes a bigger net around the thighs. I would always recommend checking the sizing guide before purchasing, but I can say these are true to size.
The feel of them are not bad at all; they are slightly rough to touch but not the type that irritates the legs throughout the day. Normally when they’re like this, they don’t really bother me as you can tell the quality of them are decent compared to cheaper brands where it does make you wanna scratch your legs to death!
I get asked this question a lot and I thought I might as well answer it here:
“What are micronets and how are they different from fishnets?”
Basically micronets are a form of fishnets, but the netting is smaller. Fishnets come in 4 sizes; small, medium, wide and extra wide. Micronets are basically the XXS version of fishnets.
The Toes & Ankle: there is no reinforcement around the toes, so you will need to be careful with long or sharp nails in these so they don’t end up making unwanted holes. The netting is the same from the toe seam to the band here – I say this as sometimes you get smaller netting around the toes that act as a reinforcement before the main netting begins, but this isn’t the case here.
Around the toes, there is plenty of wiggle room for the toes to move about and breathe ok. The feet also have enough stretch so they aren’t feeling too tight and the ankles have a lovely fitted finish.
The Waistband: is such a good band. It’s pretty thin, but it does its job so well on the waist. It holds up the tights without and issues, and it has a lovely amount of stretch in them to hug the waist without losing any elasticity when pulled. These band won’t roll over itself unless you roll them down when taking them off.
The gusset you may have seen when I was getting them on, is a small palm-sized piece with is sewn in the middle. There is no front or back seam from the gusset to the band, so you will see just a gusset patch in the middle of it.
I love this pair of micronets! I love the quality, I love the way they look against the legs and I love the fit. They are an amazing subtle pair to have in your hosiery collection for sure, and I happily recommend these if you haven’t got a pair already!
