Femme Luxe Clothing Review (Part 17)

I thought I would switch it up a little this time with a mix of lace tops and mini dresses for this review, seeing that I love the current puff lace sleeve and lace top trend.

I added a pair of fishnet holdups into the mix with my white dress, purely because it felt super weird not wearing hosiery in my review! These will be reviewed soon 🙂

Outfit 1 : Black Lace Puff Sleeves High Neck Top (Lola)

Colour: Black

Size: 6

Website: Femme Luxe – Tops

My Thoughts: I was nicely surprised by this top. I thought it wouldn’t fit well or just look super wrong on me, but I looks amazing and fits so well. I love the fact this has a neck to bottom zip so you can easily get into this piece without struggling. The arm length was great, the length is perfect to tuck it in and the floral pattern is stunning. The only let down was the material did itch a little, especially on the arms. It wasn’t too bad on the body as it doesn’t swish against it so much, but with the arms I felt it. Oh let me also mention the neck tie part; this is sewn in as 2 strands, so you can either tie it in a bow or leave it as a knot and have it dangling at the side.

My Rating: 9/10

Outfit 2 : Black Mesh Floral Sleeve Ribbed Top (Matilda)

Colour: Black

Size: 6

My Thoughts: another good purchase here too! I was super happy with the fit of this jumper; I thought it might end up being too short  in length or not have enough stretch like some of my last pieces. It’s super snug against the neck, but there is more than enough stretch to poke your head through. The arms are amazing on this; they are nice and baggy without being too oversized and the cuff gives it that extra oomph. Just to note that this is the same material like my last top, and I did find this slightly itching the arms but it wasn’t as bad. I’m super impressed with these pieces I have to say!

My Rating: 9/10

Outfit 3 : White Extreme Flare Sleeve Belted Bodycon Mini Dress (Aria)

Colour: White

Size: 6

Website: Femme Luxe – Mini Dresses

My Thoughts: looking like an angel here I must say! I absolutely love the arm detailing on this dress, which is the aim reason I wanted to review this piece. It gathers on the shoulders and then drops and fans out around the arms. It keeps them covered until you take your arms away from your side. The bodycon dress is also amazing; it hugs so well and the square neck makes it look super luxe. I thought it looked a little cheap but when it’s on and styled, you can easily turn this around. I will say that this isn’t lined so you will need to wear nude colours under this dress and make sure you have no VPLs as it is noticeable.

My Rating: 9/10

Outfit 4 : Tan Belted High Neck Ribbed Bodycon Mini Dress (Emmy)

Colour: Tan

Size: 6

Website: Femme Luxe – Midi Dresses

My Thoughts: and the bad out of the bunch. I’m not too sure why I picked this colour, but I wasn’t overly impressed with this dress. This sits quite well on the body, but I would switch the belt they give with another for sure. I wasn’t too keen on it and it did nothing for me. The arm length was fine and the fit against the neck is also pretty good; everything else I was disappointed with. The slit at the front is WAY TOO HIGH, to the point it just about covered my underwear. I was so conscious not to expose anything when reviewing! The material isn’t that great either as it doesn’t have much stretch to it, so you’re left with a box fitting dress without the tie belt.
