Shein Crochet Tights

This is the 2nd pair of the SheIn collection that have been gifted a while back, and their purchase links are now unavailable so I couldn’t obtain any more information for them sorry!

Now this pair is slightly different to yesterday’s that I reviewed in terms of the design, so I am hoping these aren’t as bad!

My Outfit

I’m dressing it up a little today wearing my yellow bodycon midi dress paired with ankle strap shoes. As my tights are a pretty bold pattern, I thought it would be nice to use bold colours against it.

The Review

The Packaging: now these are packed slightly different from my last pair. These come with no outer cover, but with a piece of card in both legs of the tights to show the design through the packaging.

When you get in, you will need to turn the tights outside in, as you need the seams to be sitting inside and not showing on the outer side.

Getting Them On: I had to try and roll them up keeping the pattern in line and symmetrical on both legs as best as I possible could. I will say it’s hard as when you scrunch down the tights are slightly twisted so I know you can never fully achieve the perfect line up!

I got these fine over my anklets and then I took some time to try and line them up so they start off looking like they match up before they end up going skewiff!

On The Legs: well they started off really well lined up but then decided to start going bent near the top of the thighs. These are a super annoying pair, but there’s not much I can do to sort it out.

The quality of these are once again not that great, but they do. I hardly ripped or snagged these, which is a plus point to them.

The fit of them are true to size; there is enough stretch in them to give good coverage on the legs. The feel of them are super rough and grainy though; this is a pair that your clothing sticks against rather than brushing past it. It happened a few times with my dress I wore, and I had to switch to my yellow one because I had enough and just needed to change to make my life easier.

Another plus point is that design; I like the row of love hearts and the plain netting which alternates. I thought these looked pretty cute, especially paired up with heels. It’s a shame that the design doesn’t sit straight!

Downside – these fall down so easily. I will explain a little further down…

The Toes & Ankle: now I have a little more reinforcement in this bit, which I am super happy about. They actually cover a little bit of the toes compared to my other pair!

I had plenty of wiggle room in these for my toes to move and feel no pressure during the day. The feet and ankles have a fitted finish.

The Waistband & Gusset: and once again I have another pair that falls down with no hesitation. I was hoping that they wouldn’t be so bad, however I was wrong once again. The band does nothing to be honest; it’s like it is there for show. It’s way too thin and the elastic in it doesn’t really do much.

The gusset is non-existent as well as you can see in the images below.

My Thoughts?

Don’t bother is all I’m gonna say…
