Day 3 in Gio and I wanted to create a party look with this pair. I normally do it for work, but with these and how stunning they look – I wanted to take it up a notch!
This is another pair that was gifted, and I can’t seem to find out more information about them for you so I do apologise in advance.

I paired my sequin t-shirt dress with some gold strappy sandals to create a fun party look.
Dress: In The Style
The Packaging: now this is slightly different. This pair didn’t come with an outer cover to them. They were still packed how you would normally receive them which is the main thing.
Getting Them On: I won’t say much here and let my video do the explaining…
On The Legs: let me start off with the colour. Now I have done plum before, and adored them to bits. This is slightly different as they are a little richer and have a metallic shine to them along with a backseam.
These are the perfect party wear pair!
The quality of these were great before my dress took over and started to snag them up around the thighs! I was livid when I looked down and saw they had caught on! I hardly had any as I was looking after them…But hey there wasn’t I could do after I saw the damage had been done.
The fit of these were great on the legs, but once again they were slightly too big so I did have some wrinkles appear every so often. You know me … I never mind when they look this good! The feel of them are once again super smooth and really silky on the legs, so your hands are just gliding off them.
I also wanted to show you some image with the flash on so you could see the difference between daylight and when they are in full party mode! They look so vibrant and beautiful! I love how they change from day to night, which makes it the perfect pair to be in all day long!
The Toes & Ankle: now this is where Gio switches it up with this incredible sole piece. I suppose with a backseam starting from the toe seam, it is a good idea to add sole reinforcement. This works from the front of the toes all the way to the heel and then changes to a backseam. I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to move freely and no pressure was added either during the time I was in them.
Around the feet and ankles, they were a comfortable fit and I hardly had any wrinkles appear this time.
The Bands: so this is where I thank my dress for giving me multiple snags around the bands. As the sequins kept catching onto my stockings, they created a nice bunch of snags on the thighs (both front and back) and a fair amount of bobbling on the actual bands itself (you’ll see it in the image below if you look to the left hand side of the leg).
Aside from that, the bands were great. They fit the thighs really well, and were comfortable to be in. I did have a small issue of them being a little long for my legs, so you will see the slide down the leg a little. Luckily my dress wasn’t a fitted one so you wouldn’t be able to notice underneath.
Apart from all the snags my dress decided to create, I love this pair and the colour. I felt they were a great pair to have in the wardrobe to dress up or down, and with that backseam it adds a touch of classiness. The fit of them were slightly large but I didn’t mind that as it worked with my outfit well and wasn’t too drastic. I would certainly recommend them for sure if you love coloured hosiery!
