Oooooo let me start throwing some bold prints onto the blog, now that I have my hands on some patterned tights to review. I gotta say I wasn’t too keen on animal print before, but not I have had the chance to try some out, I am actually loving them and now dressing them for work!
These were gifted by my amazing friend, and unfortunately not a lot of places are currently selling this pair so I can’t give you any information where you can purchase a pair.
And let me just add that I hardly ever do Wolford in a size Medium, so this will be new for me!
Denier: Around 20-40
Materials: 58% polyester, 34% elastane
Price & Website: Unknown
I went all black and let the legs do the talking today. I paired up my black jumper tucked into my faux leather skirt and added my patent court shoes. I know they already have a design on them, but I wanted to mix it up a little and just went for it.
Skirt: New Look
The Packaging: I won’t got into too much detail as I have enough images below to show you what it’s like when you receive them and when you get into the packaging. The model shows them off on the front and the back goes into a little more detail about the pair.
When you get in, you will find these folded around promotional card and the COQ at the side. These come with foot and leg shaping to them as well.
Getting Them On: so let me just show you how long these are for me – and I have so much material to play with here!
I did my scrunch and roll, but this time I didn’t have to tug them up at all. I just left them roll on and set them in place, as I know they will set themselves on the legs once I start moving around.
On The Legs: well the print is just amazing. These worked with my skin tone so well, to the point it just looked like I had cheetah legs! It’s bold, it’s eye-catching and they look amazing. If you’re not a fan of the usual leopard/tiger print that are out there, this is another that could work for you. I just adored how different they look and would certainly be wearing these out again!
The quality of these are amazing; they have been so good to me all day long. There was so much stretch in them, that I ended up with a few wrinkles behind the knees and around the ankle. It wasn’t too much of an issue as they blended against my skin tone well, so you couldn’t tell unless you’re looking up close. Apart from that, they have been incredible with no snags or rips!
The fit of them are a little too big for me, but they still have been so great. They did fit well, but it wasn’t a proper fitted finish that hugs all the curves and gaps. I didn’t mind to be honest as I felt comfortable in them still and it didn’t phase me 🙂
The feel of them are so soft and really lovely. The print is raised slightly on the top, so when you run your hands around your legs, you will feel it slightly. It isn’t an issue or anything, but something to point out if that bugs you.
The Toes & Ankle: I mentioned about the wrinkles at the ankle, which were expected to be honest.
The toes had plenty of wiggle room and no pressure was added here either. I won’t say they were loose or hanging off my feet, but they were comfortable enough and they didn’t end up slipping down my foot whilst I was walking. I know some tights can do that – and that drives me crazy!
The Waistband: no logo on the waistband here just to point out to you in case you was wondering. The band is pretty slim, and sits a little higher up from the belly button on me. It would be around the belly button if it was in my size, but it wasn’t a huge issue in my eyes.
I still had the comfort fit around the waist, and these did not fall down once as soon as I set them in the morning. They have been sitting flush against the skin, with plenty of elasticity in them all day long.
Well medium was interesting, but I have to say they have been so great to me. I didn’t expect them to turn out so well like they did, and I really did love that. I love the design, I love the way they looked and as always, the quality was spot on. I would certainly recommend these!
