I love getting my hands on little bargains. I purchased these from TKMaxx, but as they are no longer available, I will pop down another seller link below.
I saw these and thought they looked super interesting. I haven’t done a pair of leggings like this before, and at first I put them back on the shelf and after 20 minutes I came back and thought “Let’s review them and see what they’re like”

The Packaging: so you get the standard Wolford packaging for these. The model wears a blue-y colour on the front and the back goes into a little more detail.
When you get in, you will find the COQ on one side and the leggings folded around promotional card on the other.
On The Legs: now please excuse that these images were taken in the bathroom instead of anywhere else – I had no decent place where the lighting was good to show off the design well and the bathroom was lit as anything!
Now as you can see, they are super intricate, to the point you have to come up close to see the design in full effect otherwise it looks quite lace-y.
The quality of these are great; the netting is pretty thick and doesn’t rip easily. I know this as I managed to get little sections caught and I had to try and pry it away. I didn’t end up with any damage to them!
The fit of them are perfect for my size; if I went another size up I feel that the lacing would be a lot heavier rather than stretched out like it has on my legs. It wouldn’t have been a bad thing, but I felt XS worked for me really well this time round.
The feel of them are a little rough I have to admit. They do have a soft element to them, but as they are stretched out a fair amount they do end up feeling a little rough. Plus you have that netting feel to them which is never baby soft!
Around the ankles, you have a thin elastic band and trust me when I say these do not budge at all. They really are quite tight around the ankles but they do stay put all day unless you move them.
The Waistband & Gusset: this has a normal Wolford band to them; slim, huggable and has the Wolford logo dotted around. These stay put all day long as well, without it slipping down at any point. I am always so impressed with their band – I never have anything bad to say about them!
I forgot to take a picture of the gusset for you, but this is a large patch in the middle (I would say around a woman’s hand size) which is a lot bigger than what you get on a pair of tights.
I say these are quite a nice pair to either wear on their own or layer up with. It’s a different take on a pair of hosiery but can work just as well. I loved being in mine and it was nice to actually wear them with a pair of wedges so I could be barefoot in them instead of wearing hosiery with it.
