Wolford Toe Fusion Leggings

I gave you all a sneak preview on my Inststory some time back, and here is the full review for these new Wolford Leggings (well they look like tights due to the sheerness of them)…

I got these gifted from a fabulous person, and I am super excited to show you all what makes these so special and how I got on with them.

My Outfit

I decided to play it safe and pair up whites with these, making my shoes the statement piece in it all. I wanted to pair up some colours but as this is a pastel colour (and I rarely ever wear pastels) it was super hard to pair up something that could work. I will be giving it another go soon, but for now let’s keep it simple.

The Review

From The Website: Leggings revamped.

A new take on a classic.
Every outfit climbs one step on the trend scale as a result of the clever toe divider loop. Finest Velvet 66 material with a comfortable high waistband is exceptionally soft on the skin.

66 den / Matte look / Fine knurled edges

The Packaging: I do love when Wolford have different packaging styles for different collection. This one is part of their Studio collection, which means you get very basic looking packaging, but it looks so damn good still!

The front shows the model wearing the colour rust in the leggings, and the back goes into a little more detail. Not as much as you would normally get on their regular collection, but still good enough.

When you get in, you will find the COQ and those gorgeous leggings folded around card.

Getting Them On: I do have a video of me popping these on if you wish to view it, otherwise carry on scrolling down for more images!

These were pretty weird at first, but then you just go with the flow really. It’s super cool as these are leggings but look and feel like tights so you’re kinda mind-boggled a little. I know I was for sure.

These are fine over anklets by the way as long as they aren’t sharp or can snag when you get them on.

On The Legs: so before I get questioned, I wore court shoes so you can see the toe thong part clearly otherwise I would have opted for boots or a pair of shoes that covered most of my foot.

I gotta say they are so comfortable to wear, and I mean I felt so nice and snug in them. They did keep my legs warm but not to the point they are over-heating, so it’s all good!

The fit of these are perfect – I normally wear an XS and these fit like a dream on the legs, and do have an extra bit of stretch in them as well so the leggings move with you. I would recommend checking out the sizing guide, but if you’re unsure then go for one size up. I tend to do that sometimes with Wolford; either I opt for XS or Small and they both work wonders for me with small having that extra bit of material. There isn’t much difference between the sizes, so you’re all good!

The feel of them are so soft and so divine, you get what you pay for with these. I absolutely love the texture and how they feel like actual good quality leggings would. I loved being in mine and had so much fun getting weird looks from people down the street.

The colour is not something I would normally go for, but I am so glad I tried it out. I know that rust would look great for Autumn/Winter, but with icy mint, I suppose that’s where you can add that pop of colour to darker coloured outfits during the colder months. The best part is that these aren’t as see through as you would think but not a solid icy mint either; it’s a great in-between which gives them that ‘tights/pantyhose’ look on the legs.

I swear I do love their concept!

The Toes & Ankle: so let me talk a little more about that toe thong part. So this sits exactly how I have shown below, but I suppose there isn’t anything stopping you from putting in-between other toes instead so they sit a little more in the middle – however you feel comfortable really. The thong part is super soft and does not dig in or rub against the toes and foot at all. The finishing on them makes them super soft and gentle against the skin!

When it comes to shoes, you can either opt for court shoes and keep the whole thong part open and visible or you can go for closed shoes or boots to cover it. Either way would work, but it’s all down to how brave you wanna go really!

The heel part is reinforced, and has an actual little cupped part for it too. This is why you can’t pull the tight up too much as the heel part will sit higher than it needs to and it will look super awkward!

Around the ankles, it’s such a lovely fitted finish as you can see below.

The Waistband: well there isn’t much to say apart from how gorgeous it is and how flush they sit against the skin. You may see it wrinkles slightly but never enough that it starts showing through your clothing. It is such a hugging fit that you forget you’re wearing it to be honest. I love the way a Wolford band sits and fits, and I will forever love it purely because the last thing I need to worry about is a cr*p waistband!

My Thoughts?

For a very unique pair, I gotta say these were super fun to review and blog about. I loved being in this pair and trying out something new; style and colour! They are such a gorgeous fit, style and the way they look once they’re on! I would certainly recommend these!
