It’s only right we add some sparkle to Friday in this cute rhinestone pair of fishnets from Leg Avenue! I was toying if I should do a weekend promo post with these or a review, and as I wanted to dress them up, I went to town with my images and opted for a review instead!
Size: One Size
Denier: Around 40
Materials: 92% nylon, 8% elastane
Website: Leg Avenue – Rhinestone Net Tights
Going for a subtle but statement look, I opted for my velvet t-shirt dress paired with my rhinestones tights and added nude strappy heels. I wanted to keep it quite simple but dressy enough 🙂
Dress: AX Paris
Tights: Leg Avenue
The Packaging: these came pretty much how they are pictured below. Luckily they were wrapped in packaging so it wouldn’t snag the nets!
I won’t ramble on too much about what I did, as you’ll be able to see my step-by-step below…
Getting Them On: I took my time rolling these on the legs, as I had to make sure that the rhinestones don’t catch onto the tights whilst they are scrunched.
These were fine going over anklets, but do be careful if you have some pieces on there that can catch the nets (I did that;’s why so I had to make sure it didn’t tug) and if it does, make sure you act quickly before you carry on pulling them up.
On The Legs: I used a mix of flash and natural lighting to show the difference on the legs and I can say they look amazing!
Not only did they add a bit of colour to the legs with that beigey tone, but it looked amazing! And the rhinestones are a decent size so they’re not too overpowering but subtle and glamorous. I didn’t like the colour to begin with, but it grew on me the longer I was in them. The rhinestones start from the ankle and stop around the tushy area so from the top thigh up, it will be plain nets.
The denier is pretty thick, so they can withstand a little pinch or two, but I would still be careful being in them as they are micronets which means when they rip, it will be super noticeable!
The quality of the tights are fab – they have been amazing on the legs today, but I did have an issue with the rhinestones. You could hear them falling off one by one throughout the evening. Luckily not a lot had fallen off, but it’s something to note down if you do buy them that they can start to fall off.
The fit of these are great on the legs for a one size pair; they have a nice amount of stretch to them and they hug the legs really well. I didn’t experience them falling down at all, or baggy in any areas either.
The feel of them are a little grainy, not as smooth as I would have liked, but I’m not complaining. They did their job well and I am super happy!
The Toes & Ankle: as I mentioned before, the rhinestones start from the ankles (well above my ankle strap here) so the whole foot area – front and back – are all rhinestone-free! These are a lovely fitted finish around the toes, feet and ankles which I like.
The toes have plenty of wiggle room to them with a reinforced toe strip going across them. I tried to sit it under my strap so it wasn’t too obvious.
The Waistband: now the band is the letdown for me here. I won’t even need to say much as I wanted to show you in pictures this is how they looked on me. They were baggy, hardly had any elasticity to them and really flopped on me big time. I had to roll them down a few times to make them fit a little better and sit on the waist properly so I could be in them without any issues.
I was super disappointed with this to be honest, especially how I love this pair!
The waistband really did let me down here, otherwise this would have been such a glowing review! I love the way these look on the legs, and they’re simple enough to rock day or night to be honest. I thought the fit was great for a one size pair as well, and those rhinestones are something when the light gets them!
