I do love a good shoe review, especially when they are looking this mighty fine! I got these a while back, and they have been patiently sitting there waiting to be reviewed. Well finally the time has now come … And I cannot wait to show you all!
Size: UK 5
Materials: Outer Material: Synthetic, Inner Material: Textile, Sole: Synthetic
From The Website: Sophisticated yet glamourous court shoe, deisgned by the Lost Ink team in london. This style is finished with an ankle strap which lets you feel extra secure. With added padding in the sock for extra comfort, to allow you to wear these heels all day.
Outer Material: Synthetic
Inner Material: Textile
Heel Height: 12 centimetres
Heel Type: Stiletto
Shoe Width: Regular
The Packaging: I gotta say the box they came in was absolutely huge for the shoes, to the point it bashed the heels about a bit before it came to me. There was no padding or individual bags for the shoes which I wasn’t too pleased about!
Now you might see some images with the tops of the ankle parts with paperclips on them; this is to get the edges to close in a little more than looking like flaps at the back of the legs.
Getting Them On: with hosiery on, it’s easy enough to slip into. To be fair, the same can be said if you was barefoot as well…. I don’t know why I said that.
Anyways, these are easy to get into with or without hosiery on, and the buckle fastening is perfect too. The best part is that you can move the fastening to place it wherever you wish, so it doesn’t have to be right at the front of the foot, but tucked away nearer the back if you wish 🙂
As always, I tend to tighten my ankle straps a lot to begin with, so then I can loosen up as I go along. So if it looks weird, then you know why.
On The Feet: all I can say is WOW!
I love the look of them, and they have to be the 2nd pair of favourite court shoes now! I have got a few pairs like this, but as this is more of an open foot type of shoe, I love it even more! They’re simple, they’re classy, they’re sophisticated and they absolutely rock!
The heel height is pretty high and very slim, so do be careful if you’re not used to height like this … And certainly watch those pavement cracks!
The fit of them are really nice, and I still have enough room in my heels for my feet to move so they aren’t too snug. I could always add insoles or heel grips for a snugger fit, but I won’t this time round.
I tried to add an image so you can see what I meant about the flaps at the back of the ankles. If I didn’t do my little paperclip hack, this would have looked like some weird wings at the back!
If you do purchase a pair, don’t forget to suede protect them to keep them looking fresh for longer!
I truly love these, and I have nothing bad to say about them if I am honest. They have been great to be in, and they can easily be paired with anything you wish to wear too!
