Onto some plain 15 deniers now in a brand that I haven’t tried out before. I got these cheap from TKMaxx and thought they would be amazing to review!
I would love to give you more information about this brand, but I can’t seem to find anything when I pop it into Google – sorry!
Materials: 88% polyamide, 12% elastane
Now I dressed up a tad here for the sake of it – I was feeling good so thought I might as well just go with the flow. I paired up a bodysuit with my long lace shorts and added a kimono for some colour. Heels were kept black and lace-up and I added feathered drop earrings.
Bodysuit: Pull & Bear
Heels: Public Desire
Earrings: from independent store
The Packaging: so looking at it, it’s pretty simple but eye-catching enough. The model wears a pair on the front in a nude shade, and you get a little window at the front and top to show you the colour inside. The back goes into a little more detail about the pair, the sizing guide and hosiery care.
When you get in, you will find these flat folded and wrapped around card.
On The Legs: I took care getting these on the legs as they are pretty delicate and they glided right up. They are super soft so you shouldn’t experience any issues in getting them on.
The denier being 15 is great for those hotter days but you don’t want to go bare legged. 10 denier and below can be quite hard to find and not so widely available in stores compared to 15 denier upwards, so this is a great pair as an in-betweener.
The quality of them are great; I have not experienced one snag at all and I have been running errands all day long as well, so I am pretty impressed with that if I say so myself.
As you can see, they are semi-matte which means they do have a slight shine to them when the sun/flash hits it. It’s not great but it’s a little something if you prefer something subtle rather than in your face.
The fit of them are true to size; I felt I had enough room in these and they weren’t too small or big on me. They have a nice amount of stretch in them to hug the legs well and you don’t need to tug them up either. If you’re in-between sizing, then I would recommend going the next size up just so you’re not squeezing in.
The feel of them are so soft and really nice to wear. They don’t irritate the legs and they are amazing to pair with anything you want.
The Toes & Ankle: so as you can see, they come with a reinforced toe section which I am super happy about! This is quite thick, so I wouldn’t really pair with open toe heels or shoes for that reason.
I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to move and breathe and no pressure was added around this area either, so it’s all winning here!
Around the ankles, they are a lovely smooth finish with no gapping found.
The Waistband: as you can see on the right side, these have a boxer brief to them, which means short shorts and skirts may need to be a miss for this reason! Mine sit quite high but it’s still noticeable depending on how short your clothing is.
The waistband is great; I had no issues with it at all and if anything, you can’t feel it once you start moving in them. They just hug the hips well and keep the tights up all day long without you even noticing. I love bands like this!
I gotta say for a brand I have never tried out before, these are great and a real good quality piece. I didn’t expect that from a £1.99 pair at all, and I am so glad I got to try them out!
