My Outfit

I was heading into town to do some shopping, so I wanted to keep it casual. I wore my oversized jumper side tucked into my grey jean shorts and I added my white pumps to finish off the look. I was going to do my white hi-top trainers, but then switched to the ones below for extra comfort!

The Review

From The Website: Glam up your sheers this Spring/Summer with Pretty Dots from Pretty Polly.

These cute tights are a subtle way to do polka dots.

The sheer leg look with tiny polka dots will look perfect teamed up with your favourite Summer dress or dressing up your denim shorts at the festivals this Summer.

The Packaging: as you can see below, what you see is what you get really. The packaging is a small slimline box with the tights in plastic packaging. As these are a one size, there will be plenty of stretch to this pair.

Getting Them On: I took my time getting these on the legs just to make sure I don’t create any weird tug marks. That can sometimes happen when you’re rushing to get hosiery on, especially when they are made as a one size pair with all that elastic.

These were fine going over anklets and up the legs as long as you take care in doing so.

On The Legs: well let me just say that these have a lovely semi-matte finish to them which I love, which then turns into a slight shine when the sun (or flash) hits the legs.

The quality of these are great – they fit so well, they don’t snag or rip as easily due to the amount of elasticity in them and they are just great to be in! I had no issues at all, and I was in them all day long running errands so it was crucial that these stayed looking perfect!

The fit of them are amazing for a one size pair – they hug the legs so well including over any places where you would get gapping (under knees or around the ankles) so I am a happy panda! The feel of them are super soft and really lovely on the legs – really soft and you could easily run your hands up and down them all day long!

The Toes & Ankle: excuse the nails here as they are having a breather from nail varnish. There is no reinforcement here, so you will need to take care if you have long or sharp nails wearing these. These do have plenty of wiggle room for the toes to move and they are super comfy around the toes and feet.

Around the ankles, it’s a lovely fitted finish with no wrinkles.

The Waistband: before I go into more detail, please can I say excuse the weird side markings… I ended up scratching and it ended up leaving those faint marks!

The band doesn’t really need much explaining here – as you can see it’s a T-band style which sits around my belly button. The polka dots stop around the front and back, but carry on up the sides to the waistband so you still get the design if you wish to wear something shorter.

The band itself is super comfortable and really hugs nicely. It doesn’t roll over itself once it’s on and it stays put and holds up with the tights really well throughout the day.

My Thoughts?

If you’re after a good polka dot pair which you know will fit you regardless of you size, then this is the pair to go for! They fit like a dream and I am sure larger sized individuals wouldn’t have an issue in these either.
