Back into the Kabarette range we go, and to be honest these aren’t much different than a previous pair I did a while back. If you missed the review, then please hit the link below (opens in a new tab):
Denier: Around 60
Materials: 85% Polyamide, 15% Elastane
So I haven’t done an outfit like this before, and I have to say I need to do it more often. It was dressy enough yet still quite casual. I opted for fishnets to give it an edgy look rather than super girly and added the hat for effect.
Skirt: New Look
Shoes: Steve Madden
From The Website: Exclusive fishnet tights with back seam. Without marked panties and toes part.
The Packaging: the model wears the hosiery on the front, with the back going into slight detail about the hosiery along with composition, sizing guide and care instructions.
When you get in, you will find these flat folded and wrapped around card. These don’t have any foot or leg shaping to them, which does suck!
Getting Them On: like the Kabarette 151, these were easy enough to get on. I did my usual scrunch and roll up the feet and around the anklets, taking care so they don’t get caught. I then slowly pulled them up my legs and set them in place.
On The Legs: well hello little backseam. Not only is it quite bold with the small fishnet, but adding a backseam turns it from edgy to pretty seductive (depending on how you dress it let me add).
The denier I’m unsure of but these do have a slight amount of thickness to them, as some have quite delicate netting, but these are pretty sturdy so it would be quite hard to rip these unless some force is used.
The quality of these are amazing, and they are durable which makes them even better! I really don’t get on with hosiery that rips the 1st time you’re in them, and these certainly looked after me today so I am not complaining!
The fit of them are true to size, and to be honest these could also fit a medium! The feel of them are slightly rough and have a grainy feel, but it’s nothing that would irritate the legs during the day which is the main thing. These are comfortable to wear for the whole day and that backseam stays put as well – which really helps when you’re on the go all day!
The Toes & Ankle: these aren’t reinforced by the looks of things, but it’s no biggie as long as your nails are short and not sharp.
There is plenty of wiggle room for the toes to move about in, no extra material on the sides of the toes, a lovely fit around the feet and overall they look amazing. These would also be perfect to wear with peep or open toe shoes or sandals as well 🙂
Around the ankles, they are a fitted finish with no signs of wrinkles.
The Waistband: these are pretty much exactly the same as the Kabarette 151 pair. These have a slim-line waistband, which held up all day and no sign of it rolling over itself. They were super comfortable to be in; no tightness or becoming loose throughout the day and they did their job!
The gusset is that large round patch, which is great for those who go commando in their hosiery.
Once again, a great pair of affordable hosiery I managed to get my hands on. These are not only practical but with that additional backseam, it makes them a little more chic than a regular pair of nets!
