Yep I am going mad and doing something that I would never normally do for work. I am working a oriental-like tunic with my green nets and adding my suede court shoes to make it more work-like. I could have easily dressed this casually, or paired with black for work but I decided against it today and wanted to do something different.
The Packaging: the model wears the hosiery on the front, and the back goes into more detail about the tight themselves. Once you get in, you will find the COQ sticker on one side and the rights wrapped around promo card on the other.
On The Legs: the quality is always spot on, and I really do love the fact these are hard to get caught. Even if you did, it would take some force to actually rip these. Like the blue pair, these are just as great!
The feel of them are so soft and smooth, and perfect if you wish to layer underneath (or on top – your choice). They aren’t rough to touch in any way. The fit of them are great too – I am normally an X-Small in Wolford, but as this was part of a Small bundle, I found I had extra stretch on the legs which worked out well so the holes weren’t over-stretched in any way.
Now the colour is to die for; talk about creating a statement piece. I thought instead of doing these on a casual like the blue, I wanted to rock these to work and thought:
“let’s create a piece which I wouldn’t dream of doing until now.”
I know it looks mad, but I really just wanted to go with the flow of it to be honest. I could have picked something black, but I did that before and I didn’t want to do a basic white either.
The Toes & Ankle: so the toes have reinforcement to them; that strip going across which is made of smaller netting. There is plenty of wiggle room in these and no pressure is added onto the toes either during the day.
Around the ankles, these are a lovely fitted finish.
The Waistband: as you can see below, the waistband is a slimline one with the Wolford logo imprinted in it. These sit around the belly button on me, which works perfectly especially if you wish to show it off.
The gusset (just like my previous pair) is a palm-sized patch which sits flush against the skin. It’s not as long as the others, but enough to cover the area well.
Yep the green has now become a personal favourite too. I absolutely love the way they look and how much of a statement they create. I could easily wear these with my Dr Martens or Timberlands to create an edgy piece, but overall I think they’re fab!
