Studio Collants Ballerina Holdups (421, 314 & 221)

And I am blessed with some pairs of Studio Collant Ballerina hosiery once again. I have to say I love their style; it’s simple but effective. Their designs aren’t so bold and in your face as others I have can be, which makes a nice change. This is something you could wear to work rather than keeping it for other occasions.

Now my blog on these 3 pairs will be slightly different as the company sent me samples of the holdups rather than a full pair, so I will be trying on the 1 leg they have sent and showing you the different styles rather than styling with outfits.

The Review

From The Website: Ballerina Hold Up Thigh-Highs 421 (Black) is a fashionable and glamorous thigh highs/ sheer hold ups in black with an eye-catching imprinted criss-cross design on the back of the leg and beautifully embroidered lace with floral embroidery around the top of the leg

So this lovely design is certainly one of my favourites; quite a subtle pattern all around and then you get that cute lace up part at the back of the legs.

Then switching back to the front, you get this cute over-knee part on the holdups, with a subtle design before it goes into the band.

The band itself is a floral lace, which sits so well on the legs without any lose sections. When I say this, I mean it sits flush against the skin without any parts of the band being raised from the leg.

Studio Collants Hold Up Stockings 314 (Beige / Black) is a glamorous hold ups in beige with an eye-catching black and gold design on the back of the leg and a beautifully embroidered lace band at the top of the leg.

Now these beauts are perfect for being a statement pair. Simple at the front with a thin band going across the front inches away from the holdups band, and the back working form a backseam into this rich luxurious design. This takes up most of the thigh at the back, making it the ultimate statement pair in my eyes.

The band is more lace work than florals added, which I quite like. It works well with the design and even just looking at it by itself is simply stunning.

Stunning black hold ups with embroidered tops, faux suspender design and sparkly detailing using delicate metallic threads around the upper leg. All items come in branded Ballerina packaging.

So on the thicker denier side is this pair. Now I think I got mine vice versa; with the gold sitting at the front rather than the back. I chose to do that as the front was this sheer cut-out work and I didn’t want that sitting at the back where it wouldn’t be shown off as much, so I switched it.

I think there is supposed to be that gold work on the front and back, but as this is a sample pair, it was only on one side.

The band is real nice once again, working with the design on the legs well. It sits well o the thighs no matter where you choose to place it.

My Thoughts?

Even though I had sample pairs sent, I would still recommend these designs for sure. I love their simplicity and those luxe styles.

The best part is that these do last you well, as long as you take care of them. I always find I hardly have any issues with this brand as long as I’m not too rough with them.

  1. Well hello Soni, what a pleasant surprise today. Not just one review, but three different pair of sexy stay ups in your review.Very nice to read and look at,though my fav will be the beige/black nylons,do like to see the backseam is running all the way down to your sole and stops at the beginning of the reinforcement of the toes section, just love it😍😍😍
