Monochromes alert! I saw these last year on eBay and I just had to get myself a pair. I loved the statement it created paired against white and greys … And this is right up my street!
Colour: Black & White
Size: 2 – Small
Materials: 85% Polyamide and 15% Elastane
I wore my shirt dress paired with my white patent Doc Martens to give that pure monochrome edgy effect, which worked so well as all day I received compliments on how awesome it looked. It was slightly casual for work, but it still worked 🙂
Shirt Dress: Lasula Boutique
Boots: Dr Martens
From The Website: FIORE Palazzo Luxury Super Fine 40 Denier Decorative 3D Patterned Tights
Fiore Palazzo luxury 40 Denier tights. Super fine microfibre tights with decorative 3D window pane pattern detailing.
85% Polyamide and 15% Elastane
The Packaging: now this is seriously eye catching; red packaging with monochrome pictures. I am totally digging this! The front shows the model wearing the hosiery on the front with her lines perfectly paired on each leg, with the back going into slight detail. I think white font would have worked better than back in this case to be able to read it properly, but never mind.
When you get in, you will find these flat folded wrapped around card. What I did notice was that the lines on the tights were not straight; you can see it start off most of the lower leg then top thigh becomes slightly curved. I am hoping that these will sit as straight as possible on me!
On The Legs: so surprisingly these didn’t bend as much as I thought. I had the odd one or two lines which I had to keep readjusting through the day, but otherwise these were nearly straight. I am pretty impressed here!
Let me just get into the design a little more… So those horizontal lines look very light pink-like don’t they? I thought so too, until I discovered that they were supposed to be white and quite sheer so you get your skin tone peering through. Also on the packaging it mentions it’s 40 denier, however these do stretch and become slightly sheer so you won’t get a block black base; it becomes a little more light black/ very dark grey. Very interesting I must admit, but I did love the way they looked on the legs.
The quality of these are just great; they are quite thick and feel so gorgeous to touch. I loved how these are hard to catch and snag. These really did well today 🙂
The fit of them are true to size; I felt they fit me perfectly with a small bit of stretch in them where needed. The feel of them is just great; smooth, pretty soft and just amazing on the legs.
I also wanted to show you what they look like with the flash on and up close; so you can see in some images below the sheerness to them when stretched (for instance on my thighs)
The Toes & Ankle: around the toes, these has enough wiggle room to them and no extra material. I found these comfortable to be in. I think these are reinforced slightly, as most of Fiore can be. I do like that strip at the bottom of the toes which then works into the design; very clever.
Around the ankles, these are a lovely smooth finish too 🙂
The Waistband & Gusset: so as you can see, these sit just slightly higher from the belly button, but these don’t start rolling down on themselves. I thought they might have done, but thankfully no. They are a decent stretchy band, which has plenty of elasticity in them and doesn’t start to lose it quickly either.
The gusset … is non-existent. It’s just a straight seam and material with no cotton patch!
I am totally digging these. I love the way they look on the legs and how amazing they felt too. They are such a good pair, and I am so glad I got to try them out as well!
I have to say well done Fiore – you made a pair which actually was brilliant!
