Wolford Image Tights

So let me start off by telling you the backstory to these. So I was after the nude/black (where one leg is nude and other is opaque black) and I had finally got my hands on a pair. Now, like an idiot I can be, I didn’t check to see if I got the ones that I wanted. So I kept these up until now to try on and then realised that I bought black/black (black sheer and black opaque) instead! I was gutted, but I was still gonna roll with them. so if I sounds disappointed anywhere in my blog, now you know why!

However my brain has had an idea, which will be working its way to the blog soon inspired by these tights!

The Review

From The Website: One leg is sheer and the other is opaque, making these tights a cool trendsetter for an extravagant look. Comfortable, soft, knitted waistband. Opaque panty section. An especially powerful look with short dresses, shorts and skirts. 20 den.

The Packaging: I won’t go into massive detail as Wolford has been on the blog a lot recently, and I just seem to be repeating myself a lot. So the front always shows the model wearing the tights (that is the pair I wanted!) with the back going into further detail about the pair, hosiery care, sizing etc.

When you get in, you will find the COQ along with the tights wrapped horizontally around promotional card. These will be folded so you have the foot and leg shape to them.

On The Legs: I gotta say they look pretty awesome you know – not as statement as the nude/black but just as good. It did look weird to begin with, but I got used to it in the end/

The quality is always great with Wolford; no snags, no nicks, no rips etc. These have a little bit of stretch in them as I went a size up instead of getting XS. This meant that I got more of a block opaque look than a sheer one.

The fit of them are amazing; they are true to size and I had no issues with tugging or falling down the leg. The feel of them are even better; they are smooth, they are silky and they caress the legs beautifully.

The design is unusual but I love it. Most of the office really liked them, and some didn’t see a difference from far (weird but hey!)

The Toes & Ankle: around the feet, these had enough room without any restrictions; they had plenty of toe wiggle room, no extra material hanging around and no pressure added to the toes either.

Around the ankle, these were a lovely smooth finish most of the time. I did find the opaque sometimes crinkled but I would just readjust by pulling up from different points to make it even again. It happened very rarely, but something worth speaking about.

The Waistband: now let me mention that you will get a boxer brief on the sheer side – this is to give it support. The opaque side was completely fine and I had no issues at all.

They hold up really well and were certainly comfortable to be in during the day too. They have enough stretch to get a good grip on the waist, but don’t squeeze you. I gotta say these were a delight to be in!

My Thoughts?

I would certainly recommend these if you’re looking for something different; something to stand out of the crowd. I love how it worked well for work, and certainly with casual clothing too no doubt.

The fit, feel and the quality is always amazing with Wolford, which makes me always go back for more.

I would certainly recommend these for sure!

  1. Wow! that actually looks quite brilliant 😉 👍

Having said that, you just wouldn’t know which leg to look at first, would you.. ..
Definitely spoilt for choice I think…..

Oh the sheer agony of choice 😛
