So it’s freezing once again and instead of wearing long jumpers or skirts, I was wondering what else I could put with these tights. I was debating with myself for ages before I realised that I still had this dress (which by the way I hardly wear for some odd reason).
I thought it would work well if I wanted to layer it up or keep it how it as I had some important meetings to go to today.
Materials: 94% Polyamide, 6% Elastane
Website: UKTights – Oroblu Flower Lace Tights
I wore my burgundy dress, paired with long earrings and with my hair super messy. I didn’t have time to do it this morning and thought let’s roll with it.
I added some sparkle with my glitter booties because it would look too plain!
From The Website: Mixing sporty designs with classically sexy ones are something we love about Oroblu’s new range. They have some fantastic entries in their line up that are as modern as can be. These tights are sleek, energetic and dynamic, but they are also a bit of a classic too, thanks to the floral lace that’s added to the design. This is a tasteful but also eye catching and inventive.

The Packaging: it’s been some time since I have been in Oroblu, and I am so glad to be seeing their packaging once again in my hands. It will come in a monochrome slim box (as the tights are pretty thick), showing the model wearing them on the front, and the back going into detail about hosiery care, the sizing guide and a bit about the tights inside.
Getting Them On: they aren’t as bad as you might think if you struggle with side seams. Normally I find them to be a pain, but these were pretty straight forward to get on once you line up from the toes and keep your scrunch in one place (and not turning it at any point). These were fine going up anklets too
On The Legs: oh they feel so nice! They are a lovely thick warm denier, which is perfect for those cold days if you’re out and about (or just love being kept warm).
The quality of these you cannot fault as they have been a godsend to me today; no snags, no catching, no nothing which I am happy about! They do have some stretch to them if needed, but not a lot so bear that in mind.
The fit of them are true to size, so I would just check your sizing before you purchase a pair. The feel of them are just amazing on the legs; both inside and out. They actually look like leggings from a distance you know!
The design is one of my favourites; it’s unique, simple, effective and gives a little something to your outfit without looking so plain. I love the lace paired with the velvet strip; innovative I must say.
The Toes & Ankle: so the toes you will find some small gapping on the ends along with some extra material. This is due to the higher denier, so it’s kinda expected in a way. it does settle down and mould around the foot after a while.
Around the ankles, it is a semi-smooth finish, with some wrinkles appearing now and again and I have the waistband to thank for that.
The Waistband: as great as it might look, once I started walking, I found these to be slipping away from me slightly, so the gusset is no longer flush against my skin. I was dead annoyed as everything else about them are amazing, but the band is just a nightmare.
It doesn’t roll over itself or anything like that which I should be grateful for wearing a bodycon dress, but the whole slipping down issue is a massive problem when it’s creating wrinkles at the ankles and needs tugging up every so often.
I could have opted for a medium, but I knew the band would potentially fit me well, but it would be too long on the legs creating extra wrinkles where there shouldn’t be.
Overall I love these and think they are super cute and a good pair to wear when it’s cold, but due to the waistband issue, I can’t say I was happy especially as I was on the move a lot today. Sorry Oroblu, it’s a no from me this time.
