Fiore Bodycare Comfort 20 Light Tights

It’s weird being back in plain denier hosiery after being in prints and patterns for so long. But it’s a nice change as it means I can wear bolder clothing instead to make up for it.

I always find a good pair of plain 20 denier hosiery can make all the difference to your legs; with quality being the main thing you need to look for as trust me, you can spot a cheap and tacky pair from a mile off!

My Outfit

I wore my stripy jumper dress, paired with my drop earrings (I don’t wear this pair enough to be honest) and I added my cute little mules to finish off the look.

I kept my hair all bedhead and curly as I didn’t have time to add in proper defined curls!

The Review

From The Website: Fiore Bodycare are superb support tights and like everything Fiore do, these tights are an amazing item that is taken a step further. Bodycare is a light support item that features graduated compression and offers better circulation and relief for tired legs. But as Fiore always likes to top the best there is, these tights go one step further. They contain an anti-bacterial silver treatment that is great at taking any odour out of the fabric, meaning you will stay fresher for longer.

* 20 denier
* Light support
* Graduated compression
* Giving relief to tired legs
* Supports blood circulation
* Antibacterial silver protection
* 79% Polyamide
* 19% Elastane
* 2% Cotton

The Packaging: I have noticed when Fiore do some pairs which give you support, energise your legs, are high-waisted or have compression elements to it, their packaging tends to look like this. I think it’s pretty awesome as it helps you differentiate from the fashion pieces to those that offer more benefits to your legs.

When you get inside, you will find these wrapped around card, and flat folded so you won’t get any leg or foot shaping to it.

As always, I tend to hold mine up against something light to check for snags or any imperfections before I get them on, instead of thinking it was me that caused it somehow!

Getting Them On: I took my time to do my roll up, as I didn’t want to tug them up too hard. These were fine going over anklets, but I would recommend hosiery gloves so you don’t end up catching these as you get them on.

On The Legs: I have to say they are pretty awesome! I am loving the way they have treated my legs today, considering I have been on the move a lot!

The denier being 20 did look darker to me, but I didn’t mind that to be honest, and it also depended on the lighting as well.

The quality of them are really good; I expected to get a few snags coming my way, but actually there wasn’t any. These are pretty fitted on them legs, with very little stretch to them, so I suppose that helps and doesn’t give anything the chance to snag my tights!

The fit of them are true to size, with very little stretch so these won’t move as much. The feel of them are so silky soft; no roughness or any grainy feeling to them which I really do like. They also do have a lovely little shine to them (and once again this is lighting dependent) as most of the day I have been in darker offices rather than out in the sun.

In terms of the compression element, I have to say it’s light. You don’t feel it as much compared to other brands, which is nice in that sense. I did feel that these were great for those who are on the go a lot, as I have to admit I did feel the benefits of wearing these whilst be out and about, as I didn’t get leg strain like I normally do and they didn’t feel as tired as they normally do either.

The Toes & Ankle: these are reinforced, which I am super happy about! you get that darker denier toe strip going across, so make sure you line these up properly so you don’t see them move around in your shoes during the day.

Around the ankles, it was a lovely fitted finish

The Waistband & Gusset: so these have a boxer brief to them, which in fact works as a comfort support. It’s very light so you won’t feel the difference between a normal pair of tights and these, which I do like. It worked well under bodycon dresses, so already a winner in my eyes!

The band itself is pretty taut to begin with, but it does sit on your waist well, and it doesn’t roll over itself either. It keeps its elasticity throughout the day too, and overall I had no issues with it whatsoever.

Oh also let me mention, the boxer brief part is more of a micronet material rather than a sheer plain denier, so you get that reinforcement to it.

Oh and another thing … these don’t have a gusset!!!

My Thoughts?

YES YES YES! Just a simple yes from me thank you!

  2. At the small risk of tmi, I have sweaty feet so I’d like it if more hosiery manufacturers would incorporate into their wares the anti-bacterial silver treatment that these offer.

    But as for these, of course they look great on you!
