I got myself a pair of non-patterned Studio Collants Ballerina tights for a change! Every time I buy this brand, I always go for some real nice bold patterns, but I saw these and they looked so nice and luxurious on the website, so I had to go and get myself a pair! I just hope they look amazing and bold as they do on that model!
Materials: 79% Polyamide, 18% elastane, 3% cotton
10% Discount Code: sonipanda
I wore my cream bodysuit paired with my velvet skirt (yep it’s making more of an appearance now) paired with my studded pink shoes (and so are these!) I wanted to keep it simple for work as my tights were quite a bold colour anyways!
Bodysuit: New Look

From The Website:These opaque hosiery are great for the fall and winter season
Available in Small, Medium, Large and X-Large for that perfect fit.
Color: Black, Blue, Fumo(Smoke), Verde(Green) and Bordoux
79% Polyamide 18% Elastane 3% Cotton
The Packaging: as you see below, their packaging always stays the same; that dark, mysterious luxe look which I love. The only thing they change is the photo image inside (neat idea!)
When you get in, you will find the hosiery in a plastic wallet, flat folded around card, ready to get on.
Getting Them On: so doing my usual scrunch and roll up, I took my time over the feet and anklets, making sure that I didn’t catch it whilst they were being rolled up. I noticed the opaque go from thick to quite sheer as I was doing so.
On The Legs: so I got to start off with the colour first. These do shade a lot of greeny/blue, but it’s not the colour that you assume on the website.
See an image below of how it looks on the website just so you know how I am making my comparison and then scroll further down to see the rest of my review:
So see what I mean when I thought I was getting that gorgeous emerald green … and ended up with something not that spectacular? Don’t get me wrong, I do like the colour, but I had an expectation which was let down!
But as you can see with the lighting, it does change depending where you are. The shots done in front of the window shade a little greener than in the middle of the room.
So the denier is 50, but this is one of those sheer-opaque pairs rather than a block. The quality of the tights are decent I give you that; I had plenty of stretch in these around the legs and they didn’t end up snagging or catching once.
The fit of them are great; they are true to size but don’t have a lot of leeway if you are slightly bigger. The feel of them are soft to touch, and softer inside the leg. A good pair to wear on those slightly colder days as it helps to keep those legs warm.
The Toes & Ankle: so a good block colour on the feet I have to say; no nail varnish can peer through this unless it’s a real light or rich colour. These aren’t reinforced but doe to the thicker denier, they are just ever so slightly (in my eyes anyways)
You have plenty of wiggle room in these, and no extra material hanging about either. I have to say I did feel some pressure put on the toes during the day, but nothing that really hurt them. I had to pinch them away a few times – another little pointer.
The Waistband: now this is a good waistband! I love that thickness where it really does hold them up. It’s a real good comfortable band to be in I must say; it didn’t roll over itself, it hugged me enough that I knew it was there doing its job and it has plenty of elasticity in there too!
So not the colour I was hoping for, but still a nice pair overall. Just bear in mind that the colours shown on the website won’t be as rich as you think before you order and are let down like me!
Otherwise these tights are quite nice if you like semi-opaques. I love the fitting of these and the quality is great on them too 🙂
