So hello new colour! I got these sent by Vienne Milano some time back, and now I finally get to review them. I was so intrigued to see that they are a gold pair of holdups – a colour I thought I would never see on hosiery!
If you haven’t seen my previous reviews on Vienne Milano, then please see the links below (they open in a new tab):
Materials: 92% Poliam Micro, 8% Spandex
Being all bright and beautiful, I wore my desigual dress paired with my purple suede heels. I fancied a colour pop outfit, and thought this was perfect to create that look!

The Packaging: so basically what you see below is what you get with these holdups. These come wrapped in plastic packaging, and neatly around card.
When you get these out, you will find these shaped to the leg and feet, so it makes it easier to get your line up right when getting them on 🙂
Getting Them On: I gotta say these transform when they get on your legs. I used my scrunch and roll method getting these on making sure that I took care getting them over my anklets.
I gotta say they were a smooth run up the legs!
On The Legs: I’m still debating what colour these actually are. They’re across between a limey green and a yellow-y colour. I am so amazed – I didn’t expect this at all!
The denier is 30, yet you still get a good amount of sheerness coming through these. I found they looked more of a block colour when I used flash on some images below compared to normal daylight.
The fit of these are true to size, with plenty of stretch in these. I know because I managed to sit my holdups high (I normally sit them top thigh than mid thigh as I don’t like exposing the band). The feel of these are super smooth and it doesn’t get lost when you stretch them out either. Sometimes I find that the texture becomes rough and grainy when it’s stretched out more than it should be, but these have that great consistency throughout.
The quality of these are amazing; I have been in them all day and not had a single issue. No snag or ladders, and I found that these were quite hard to get caught as well. There were plenty of near misses today and not once did I end up with a mark.
The Toes & Ankle: around the toes are reinforced, so you’re sorted in this aspect. You have plenty of wiggle room in these and there is no pressure added either, which is great being in high heels all day.
Around the ankles was a lovely fitted finish.
The Bands: now the bands aren’t anything special, but they are a damn good band in terms of holding these up. The silicone was super strong it took me a while to prise it away so I can get them on.
Their grip is amazing on the legs, and not once is it lost throughout the day either. I tested it out by tugging them away from the legs a few times and they still clung on like it was their first time touching my legs. I love it!
It’s a decent thick band, where you can either show it off or hide it underneath. You can work with this in so many ways 🙂
I gotta say I love the fitting of Vienne Milano. I love the quality of their products and I certainly love their uniqueness in colour choices too! It’s so different and another colour I wouldn’t personally pick up, but now that I have tried it, I wish I did sooner!
