And hello Wolford! I got these beauties off eBay for a decent price, and I was so psyched to get them on to review. These are one of the older Wolford collections, and you can tell with the old school packaging!
Colour: Black, Cashmere
I wore my suede wrap around playsuit, paired with converses which I left downstairs! I kept it proper simple to let my hosiery do the talking.
The Packaging: as I mentioned previously the packaging is different to the ones you see nowadays. This looks quite retro and basic (which isn’t a bad thing). You won’t find quality check stickers inside of these (which is another give away).
Once you get in, you will find these wrapped around card, with the subtle foot and leg shaping to get them on with ease.
On The Legs: I actually thought these might be a slight net finish, but actually it’s all nylon here! I was pretty amazed as normally these type of designs are a net finish to make them boldly stand out, but not this time.
The denier is around 20-30 with the design being slightly thicker. The quality of these are amazing; I have not had a single snag come about and I have been messing around in them all day long too!
The fit of these are true to size, so do make sure you get the right size! They hug the legs real nice and don’t become loose. The feel of them are super smooth and silky, which I totally love.
The design is what got me to buy these in the first place; I love this type of look which you can dress up or down and it works so well throughout the year rather than certain seasons.
The Toes & Ankle: so the toes I take it are slightly reinforced as the design starts just under the toes, so you get this sheer strip at the front and back. They have plenty of wiggle room in them too and no pressure is added around this area either.
Around the ankle, it’s a smooth finish with no wrinkles in sight.
The Waistband: I gotta say the waistband is decent; it’s a very slim one but it does the job well. It holds up throughout the day with no issues, and no signs of it rolling over causing little bumps. The design as you can see works right up the the band, where it then becomes reinforced with just sheer goodness.
If you can get your hands on a pair, then do so as these are so lovely and I am so glad I managed to review these. As I mentioned these are a nylon base rather than net, so it instantly looks a lot more luxe than netting.
